I thought my Story and Clark was beyond repair, but Wallace proved me wrong! I had been quoted…read morecrazy rehab processes and prices and had held off for years to rehab this old piano. However, one day I thought I'd give it one more try to find the repairman who could bring this beauty back to her heyday. I found that person in Wallace. I had been told the sound board needed replacement and all the strings would have to be restrung. I was told it would be a minimum three month rehab project. Not only was the sound board in good condition, but the strings just needed some TLC. Wallace replaced all the ivory keys with plastic, as many were missing their overlay and to find exact replacement would be not only costly but almost impossible for a piano of this age, ~1920's. Wallace finished the project on time and on budget. No surprise costs and no delays. He was done installing the keyboard and tuning it within his two week timeframe and will be back in a couple of weeks to fine tune it after it has time to sit and rest. He was professional, on time, and very honest. I believe he not only deserves the five star rating but earned every bit of it. Attached are some before and after photos! Please message me if you have questions. In the first pics you can see the disrepair of the keys and the filth on the strings. The last pictures you can see the beautiful craftsmanship of the new white keys and the restoration of the ebony keys. Also, note the shining copper on the strings and all this restoration resulted in a beautiful sound. No more "twainey" sound.

So, from what i understand, the touch up is more expensive then the tunning. At this point, i don't trust his service. I believe i was totally scammed by Wallace Hall. If anyone reading this and still used his service, you have been warned.

If I could give this company 1 million stars I would. This morning I was greeted by the team of :…read moreChris, Joe & John --- these three are a true moving "dream team". With the speed of a cheetah, elegance of a swan and heart of a ....hippo? Lion? (Something with a really sincere big heart!) these guys have it all. Positive, fun, extremely hard working and caring. Moved all of my heavy crap up 4 flights of stairs -- they acted like it was nothing. I climbed the stairs once and almost had a heart attack while drenched in my own tears and sweat. Besides their moving prowess they go the extra mile with customer service : I honestly just fell in love with them. They are outstanding individuals, I truly enjoyed having them with me for the morning. In a nutshell: this was an affordable, incredibly smooth and fantastic moving experience! Thanks Chris, Joe & John!!!! You guys are outstanding !

When there was a pop up shower, they did nothing to protect the furniture. When wrapping the white silk sofa, they dropped the cushions on the muddy floor. They chipped the marble on the coffee table and a concrete outdoor pedestal. They even broke a concrete urn. The movers toward the end were rude and dismissive. When I called the owner to ask how I would be compensated for the items that were damaged or destroyed he agreed to repair 3 items and gave me $50.00 for the urn. He did not repair the 3 items. WARNING: Unless you want your furniture destroyed, DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!!
