We landed here based on the recommendation of a family friend and have been pleased ever since. They handle everything with insurance in a calm and competent way, which already puts them ahead of much of modern civilization. Once you are an established patient, getting appointments is organized, predictable, and refreshingly free of drama. This alone is worth something in a world that so often prefers confusion. I have been seen by both the father and the son, and they are each competent, caring, and attentive in a way that suggests they actually notice the human attached to the teeth. The dental techs are consistently good at what they do, and the front desk staff is genuinely nice, not the forced nice that feels like a performance, but the real thing. We keep coming back, not out of habit, but because the care is solid, the people are kind, and our teeth continue to function as intended. Five stars.

The last time I visited there was a different receptionist than normal. I paid in cash for services rendered. Either they have poor record keeping or the receptionist stole the money. They called and sent numerous letters. I explained to them I paid the $100 at the time of service. They sent the $100 to collections and it impacted my credit. Do not pay them in cash as they may misplace your payment and insist you pay again or threaten to send you to collections over a $100.

Another time I was told to reschedule after I said that we were just 5 minutes away from the clinic. We live in another town, in the past driving all the way here was ok as Dr Rooney was kind. My daughter asked: why are you naming some of my teeth numbers and others letters? Dr. Shapiro kindly answerd "Letters are the baby teeth you still have and numbers are your grown up teeth" Even when we had differing opinions on care planning for my daughter's teeth she was respectful and understanding of my views. They also included my daughter in the care and planning of her dental care by offering choices of toothpastes like Bugglegum, Apple, Orange, and grape. They have a ceiling television with programs catered to children. The office is super clean and absolutely adorable. My daughter loved the practice.
