This was my 2nd visit for a Wisdom tooth extraction. On my 1st visit they performed a thorough exam and set up a plan going forward. It was my last wisdom needing to be removed. I really dislike going due to bad experiences when I was young in the 70's. For a man approaching 54 I wouldn't have thought I'd be so nervous. Doctor Wharton did another amazing job just like the 1st visit. Numbed the area perfectly and had that tooth out in no time. Next day very minimal pain in the area and no bleeding. Dr. Wharton is the best dentist I've ever seen, and I'm seventy years old. After my first visit, any anxiety I had about future dental appointments disappeared. And believe me (former Marine Infantry Captain that saw combat in Vietnam), I had always been deathly afraid of having to go to the dentist. Dr. Wharton is professional, likeable, and took the time to fully answer my numerous questions. In the last two weeks I've had a bridge procedure, plus two additional crowns completed. He also gives the best (95% pain free) numbing shots. The staff at Advanced Dentistry are also superb and caring. If you need to see a dentist, make sure it's Dr. Wharton at Advanced Dentistry. Dentist Eli Johnson berated me in front of his office staff after coming in for an emergency. After patiently waiting and being very courteous to him and his staff, Eli yelled at me and told me that a crown falling out was not a dental emergency and to go to Walgreens and fix it myself. He also told me that he didn't care that we attended the same church or that we knew each other outside of his office. He doesn't appear to care for his patients and could care less about helping someone in an emergency. By the way, I called another dentist and got in the SAME DAY. It took 10 minutes to fix. Horrid, horrid people. I called to make sure they were wearing masks and I was told the front desk people did not. I asked the dentist, Dr. Johnson, to call me to discuss this and he was rude and told me they did not need to wear masks because they would be breathing their own air and could not talk on the phone. I was very pleased...when I had my very first visit...the staff were knowledgeable, personable, and the wait time was minimal. Now, they are even better...the atmosphere is relaxed, peaceful, and jovial. I hear laughter and joking amongst the staff as they work diligently to take care of the patients' teeth. i had a terrible experience here. the main dentist doesn't care at all about you or your health. run far away from this place they let dogs run all over the place leaving dog hair in people's mouths....uhm gross?! i don't know about you but i'd like to know who let's animals in a dental office? very unprofessional and i wouldn't be surprised if the main dentist took this down cuz he's arrogant and doesn't care about anyone but himself. do yourself a favor and stay far away. read more

My family could not be more pleased with the care we have received from Dr. Wharton, Dr. Johnson, and the entire staff. They are professional, friendly, and their office has always been a step above! We have small children (ages 2 and 3), and both dentists have made visiting the office a fun experience for our boys. Our kids LOVE Dr Dan and Dr Eli! I had them do invisible aligners for me, and my treatment happened to overlap with the covid pandemic. This required me to make MANY visits into the office at a time I wasnt comfortable going just about anywhere. I can say from first hand experience that this was easily one of the cleanest most sanitary businesses in town! I never have had a single concern. The front desk staff was physically seperated behind a large plexiglass barrier, their waiting room sparkled it was so immaculate, and unfortunately I never saw a single smile from any of the healthcare professionals (although you could hear it in their voice and see it in their eyes) because they were covered in the same personal protection equipment that they have always worn in the office. The staff here genuinely cares about their patients. They are both compassionate and professional, and I would highly highly recommend anyone looking for a dentist to give them a call!
