As a result, they have created a unique space where kids feel comfortable to learn, grow, and to be curious. Students are advanced and challenged according to their abilities and interests in a small class environment where they stay engaged and connected. The school provides wonderful breadth of activities beyond the core academics, including twice a week field trips, a Kingian nonviolence class, music, theater, cooking, community service, student run work shops, and other enriching experiences. Our son loves going to CELC, and CELC has inspired him to learn and to be his best self there.

North Branford is about 15 minutes from everything. There are two ways to get to 95 from here. You can take snake hill road or travel through east haven to new haven using Foxon road. My son had a difficult time in grade school, largely in part to his ADHD, social anxiety, sensory issues, and was later diagnosed with high functioning autism. My brothers encouraged him to apply to ND and he was accepted with a grant to help pay tuition. What Notre Dame did for him was nothing short of amazing. He found his comfort zone. He was able to focus so much better with the more structured classes than he was used to. His teachers were understanding and approachable, many became mentors and role models. He applied to 7 colleges and was accepted to all of them. We absolutely love this school and are thankful for the 4 years my son spent here

Choosing to attend Notre Dame High School has proved time and time again to be the greatest…read moredecisions I have ever made. As a student at ND over the past 3 years, I have had a firsthand experience of what it's like to be molded into a man of character, compassion, and confidence. Coming from the public school, I was blown away by incredible 1 on 1 attention you get at Notre Dame. The faculty is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure students are succeeding in and out of the classroom. There is a place for everyone at Notre Dame. I've ben a member of numerous athletics teams as well as student organizations. Lastly, the brotherhood is unrivaled. Whether you're a prospective student, current student, or an alum from 70 years ago, the connections you make at Notre Dame last a life time. Horrible irresponsible school. Let me tell you a story...These kids wait for the school bus on the…read morecorner of Madison Ave and Wheeler Ave in Bridgeport CT. They were breaking bottle in our parking lot which is private property, they have in the past damaged our cars by throwing ice balls when it snows at out vehicles and quite frankly vandalize our property and cars on a daily basis. When we called this school the principal could not possible have cared less. the children were not spoken to, the parents were not informed, and then the principal told us it was not her problem to call the Board of Ed. We called them and NOTHING was done. There are ZERO school children who live on our street and yet, they refuse to move the bus stop! The Board of Ed told us to call the cops. The Cops said they can do nothing because these kids are minors. They told us that with the kids listening, giving them full license to continue to terrorize us on a daily basis. One "kid" grabbed his crotch and threatened to come back and rape our children, still the police did nothing. I have contacted every single news agency in the state of CT and asked them to cover this story in hopes that they can humiliate the powers that be to actually do their jobs. Let's see if anything comes of this or not. THE POLICE SAID "UNTIL THEY ACTUALLY ASSAULT SOMEONE, THEY CAN'T DO ANYTHING". Not true, all we asked is that the police take them home and speak to their parents, but they refused. Guess that was asking too much.
