They have like 3 toilets for the entire venue and you'll spend a chunk of your time waiting in line. I think the restrooms are original to the building (1920s) The sound system looks to be Meyer Leopard arrays with 900-LFCs and Rivage PM5 for the house console - so that's ripping! Only redeeming quality

The seats are comfortable and the view from the seats on the ground level are all decent. I've been where we sat at the last row on the ground level and I've visited where we had seats closer to the stage. The lines aren't crazy long, and the security works pretty quickly to move things right along. They do sell cocktails and snacks. I love that this venue is right in the middle of the city with plenty of public tranportation options. The fees have always been reasonable and cheaper if you pay at their box office. This is definitely a venue I would attend future events at based on my prior experiences.

In over 90% of the cases he/she will not know the answer. Many ordinance are on the books and are outlived and or outdated. The town makes no effort to keep them current or remove them. interesting experience with this Town, I never experienced any other county that places a violation, and if not attended to in the short window provided you go to court. That's where the Town's money making comes into play, the county attorney job is to get $$$, they will pressure you to settle and pay a min. of $500 for the slightest of violation. If you have a violation and it was not cleared up by the time of court ( and even if you did remedied the alleged violation, the Town still expects $$$ from you. This is where lies one of many problems.. your a taxpayer, comply with the violation and still have to pay a fine? This is very fishy. In another situation, say you didn't comply, you provided up to 9 months if you pay the fine plus an administrative fee within 30 days.

They also have their own electricity provider which is pretty uncommon in Connecticut. Most of Connecticut is provided with electricity by the company Eversource. There are many industries located within the town, providing diverse employment options. When I went exploring the town, I found it very historic and charming. It's hilly and had quite a bit going on; restaurants, bars, vineyards, breweries, etc. I really enjoyed walking through the historic Center Street Cemetery. The library is one of the nicest libraries I've been to. Walking around downtown was enjoyable; plenty of sidewalks and it's pedestrian friendly. Overall, a fun town to explore and can't wait to go back.

The countryside is filled with small towns like Wallingford. Most of my Wallingford Tour was by truck. Jim has a comfortable truck complete with electric to charge my phone while I view the area in and around Wallingford. I saw new buildings that are beautiful design like the library. My favorite buildings are the historic buildings most of which now have been repurposed. I especially like the old train station. I saw barns, horses, cows, chickens and tractors! Old Factory Buildings are beautiful to see too. The homes look so inviting some with porches out front with rocking chairs on them. I felt like singing 'Little Pink Houses'! I did take a walk in the neighborhood. I took some photos. The drive didn't allow photos since it was drive by without the shooting (photo shooting that is!) A motorcycle tour makes my stay complete. A peaceful quiet retreat from hectic city life was certainly welcome. If you see my activity you'll see the seafood is fresh and delicious in this part of the country. Wallingford and the surrounding area have a lot to offer. Just remember you better have money for gas because you'll drive a lot! Everywhere you go in fact! I like the country for a vacation to rest. I think I feel more independent in the city. Sitting in a motor vehicle is too confining. I would definitely return to Wallingford and surrounding towns for relaxation, beautiful atmosphere, friendly people, and delicious food! Thanks Jim C. for sharing the town you love so much with me! I'm honored!

It's Indian origins, settlement by three pioneering families, early patriarchs and benefactors, and development of agriculture and manufacturing are all described nicely. This is a two-sided marker from the CT Historical Commission, with the familiar white lettering on a blue background. It has the same inscription on both sides.. The marker dates to 1978 and is in pretty good shape except for some chipping, and peeling on the blue paint at the top of the sign. I took these photos on a snowy day. The shot of the sign against the background of Town Hall and all that snow came out very nicely. The full inscription reads: A part of Indian land bought in 1638 for New Haven, North Haven was incorporated in 1786. The center area was settled in 1670 by the Humiston, Thorpe, and Blakeslee families. A separate parish or church society was formed in 1716. The Reverend James Pierpont gave the Green for a meetinghouse, burial ground, and drill field. In the old cemetery lie veterans of the Revolutionary War, including Sergeant Jacob Thorpe, killed at East Haven in 1779. The Reverend Benjamin Trumbull, patriot and historian, lived here from 1760 to 1820. Here were born Ezra Stiles, President of Yale 1778 - 1795, and Hobart B. Bigelow, Governor of Connecticut 1881 - 1883. Theophilus Eaton, a founder of New Haven, opened a brickyard here in 1640. Bog iron also was mined near Pool Road after 1656.Where first was a humble farming village, small manufacturing enterprises soon sprang up, heralding present-day North Haven as a thriving industrial and residential town. Erected by the Town of North Haven and the Connecticut Historical Commission 1978
