This new-ish Vietnamese restaurant on Portland Street has a big menu and some delicious summer rolls. The rest of the food was nice but fell slightly short - salt and pepper squid came with really tasty vegetables but these outshone the bland batter. Pho is not my favourite although I thought the broth tasted ok but I def would not rush back here for it again. A beef stir fry dish we ordered sounded fantastic - coconut, lemongrass, peanut ingredients but they did not come together as satisfyingly as you might hope, although it was not bad. Apparently the toilets were awful and the wine list was also terrible but frankly I feel that is acceptable in what is basically a hole in the wall Vietnamese. I wouldn't rush back but nor would I run screaming if someone suggested it. read more
