When I received the contract , and it referenced, "no guarantees" I was assured that this was to protect the company in the event that there was natural weather related events or neglect on the part of the homeowners and that if there was a problem, you would stand by it. This was a particular concern on my part because you installed it during the winter. As this is a rental property, we were unable to see the lawn until early summer. When we saw it, over half the sod was dead. This was despite the fact that you installed the sprinkler system and our property manager confirmed it was working the whole time. The fact that you refuse to even come out to inspect it yourself and claimed that it was an issue on our part or the lawn company speaks volumes . We have owned several properties here on Sunset for many years and as you know it is a small community.

They installed the wrong color stairs on my patio and the owner got frustrated with me that I didn't stop them from installing. I explained I was not home, but he was very belligerent and frustrated toward me because I didn't recognize it when they were delivered. I guess they don't look at them when they receive deliveries for their customers so he sees it's as my mistake. I allowed them to stain the steps, which ended up looking good. I probably will not do business with them again when I add uplighting to my yard. I was also surprised when they told me they add 3% to the bill if I use a credit card. Their customer service is 1 star, but the work they did was 4 stars.

My husband and I were extremely impressed with him and his legitimate equipment. Our property has been overgrown for far too long. The sandman came and made it all disappear, while preserving a few plants scattered throughout. We can't sing his praises enough! He stayed longer than what we expected making sure everything was trimmed and sprayed all over for weeds. Honestly, for the amount of work he did, we were satisfied with his upfront price, which like some others, he didn't try to up-charge us! He is a nice and honest man. We gave him a few extra dollars, which was less than he deserved for all the hard work he did. And he was so honest telling us there was extra money! We just gave him a llittle extra we had on hand. But what integrity and honesty he possesses not to just assume it was his and not a mistake on our end. What else can you ask from any contractor!? Hire him for any yard related work or landscape design. You will not be disappointed. We will be hiring the Sandman again! We keep looking at our yard is disbelief at how wonderful it looks!
