I'd recommend Gate City Small Engine Service to everyone.

We'll have to wait for a snow storm to try it out (I'd like to wait a long time for that event). However, Josh told us to let him know if there are any issues because he stands behind his work. We fully expect to have no issues. Just great service.

The Technician Rob D was very professional and courteous. I am an inquisitive type and was sort of looking over his shoulder. He was very knowledgeable and explained the steps he was doing and why. Swift, and highly competent. Long story short: Go there…read morefirst. The long of it: I showed up at the end of his workday on a Saturday. There were 3 in front of me. The first was knee deep in conversation, as he answered all his questions, next was a pickup of something he'd finished, and one was a spontaneous "Can you fix this, I was right in the middle of ...", which he fixed in about 5 minutes with a part salvaged from another he kept for salvage purpose. Then there was me at the end of the line, it was 5 minutes past closing, with a mower someone else had deemed in need of major overhaul advising I buy a new one. In under 2 minutes, he'd tightened a cable, and the machine was running good as new. As someone else put it, "he saved me hundreds of dollars", and more importantly to me, hours upon hours of shopping for replacement, for no good reason.

I can't say enough good things about this place and these people. I was in the market for a new…read morepush mower, and torn between the higher end models by Toro and Honda. After about 30 hours of YouTube review videos, I was still stuck. I visited a few other shops closer to me in Nashua. To my surprise, these other places wouldn't let me try anything before buying, even just to feel it. They told me, "some people love Toro's personal pace, others hate it". Not exactly comforting when they won't let you try something. With the threat of 30%+ restocking fees, I wasn't taking the gamble. Then I found these guys. I visited the shop, they put some gas in one for me, I pushed it about 10 feet, and they earned my business because of it. Buddy was the employee who helped me and he was extremely friendly and not pushy at all. Thanks Buddy! I won't need another mower for at least a decade, but I'll gladly drive twice as far to visit these guys versus my local shops. I am very happy with what I got, and for a great price! I'll be a customer for as long as I live here.

They are both very knowledgeable about all the products they sell! Their customer service is second to none. I am a homeowner not a contractor & I am treated the same as every contractor that walks through the door. They truly make you feel very comfortable & take the time to go over all the different products they have & what would be the best fit for your needs. I purchased a (FWD) self propelled lawn mower this past summer (2022) & an Echo backpack leaf blower this past Saturday (10/29/2022). I could not be happier with my purchases & the customer service I receive! My next purchase in the near future will be an Ariens snowblower. The products that are sold at Turf Depot are far superior than anything sold at the big box stores. There is no need for me to purchase any of my outdoor products at a big box store ever again! Thanks Buddy & Kris for always making this a pleasurable experience for me! Jim P
