I used to LOVE the Hallmark Channel, but after doing canceling The Way Home after Season 4, I am so angry that I will 100% be canceling my subscription after this show is finished. This past Christmas season's selection of movies was pretty lame - like they are showing the same story with different actors over and over again. Did you fire all of of your decent writers? And, then the one really great, truly unique original show you were airing is canceled???!!! Shame on them. They're relying on super tired same ol', same ol' stuff like WCTH (which after watching about 20 minutes of an episode, I found to be one of the most boring shows they've ever aired and yet they keep bringing it back? What the heck is wrong with them???) Either they've gotten too lazy or too cheap to produce interesting and meaningful programming. It is so disappointing. read more

I used to look forward to the Hallmark Christmas movies, but this year it's been horrible, I've hardly watch, because they have repeatedly shown the same movies. The new movies are not that great. I'm not a regular Hallmark channel movie viewer by any means, but I do enjoy a new Christmas movie from them when the holiday season rolls around. I just saw a newer one called Christmas Island and I thought it was really cute! It doesn't really bother me the same actors appear or that there are similar storylines - it's a good thing they are employed so regularly and the stories are very cute and about love! People can definitely manage their expectations and you can always read a synopsis of the movie beforehand if you're skeptical. I really do recommend - they are bringing lots of Christmas spirit, no matter how cheesy! read more

What is going on with Hallmark channel? Where are the new movies 2025. They are only playing old movies from Hallmark plus. Why is Hallmark not doing fall premieres I just seen the fall line up commercial. It's the groomsmen things I already seen on Hallmark plus. Christmas in July was a disappointment. I love this Channel, the pay subscription, my only complain is that in every movie, I usually watch all the Christmas ones!, they ALWAYS kill the mothers, o is incredible, a turn off, I shady know the lines, "my mother died 2 years ago and I miss her so much". Hallmark has always been my go to calming happy place. That's not happening anymore. Something has happened, it's always a remake of the same story line.... Just different actors. Last year was a HUGE Disappointment. Either Sad or corney..... Bring back the original Hallmark. You had more movies then before, but I could count oh One Hand the ones I liked And if one more Veil episode does up I'M DONE. Also, what happened to the Christmas Eve No Commercials Christmas Episodes????? Great movies but Too many commercials. 10 to 15 minutes of commercials and 5 minutes of the movie scene. Exhausting

Its awful for 2 major reasons - the content and the streaming channel. The content could be great but the idiots running things don't stick with anything. They just keep churning out new shows that nobody wants to get invested in. Flower Shop mysteries, gourmet mysteries, matchmaker series - all with humor and entertaining. All cancelled just as people find them. Nothing sticks. The movies now streaming service is the most frustrating service ever. Nothing loads properly. If you try and stream from your device to a TV, it takes 3 or 4 times before the show actually works and every time you have to watch the same stupid commercial pushing the only shows they have running at the time. What is with all the period shows? Boring. Rider - its not Texas. Rodeo is over. The mystery shows based on books could have long lives but they just have no clue what they are doing and I would never pay for their streaming channel because it doesn't work. I use it through the library bingepass and even then, most of the time give up because it takes too much effort to get the show I want. Fire everyone in content and streamng and start all over. And for Goodness sakes - stop calling every show Christmas in July. Its not a Christmas show because there is snow on the ground and every cheesy show follows the same exact boring template. Its fine for a book series. It doesn't translate to the tv. When will you learn that? Movie mystery is for mystery or run a series like the one Ann Ross writes - Miss Julia. What happened to the fun and yes sometimes silly Christmas movies? They were light hearted and joyful. Now everyth is poignant. Most with an underlying message. That is ok occasionally, but not every single movie. People tune in to get away from the drama of real life. We like the light hearted funny movies. They bring joy & laughter that the whole family can enjoy together. I love the movie with Kathy Ireland I think it is, she is the good daughter of Santa. Then there is the bad daughter, Rudolpha, trying to take over Christmas. or the one with Steve Guttenberg as "Nick", Santa's son. Yes, alot of the themes ran pretty close to one another, some one came home to the ( farm, small town etc) from where ever , rekindled a lost love, saved said farm, family business, small town. But we LIKED that! It made us HAPPY! It was thought provoking or tear jerking (unless it was happy tears). It was just lovely, fun & enjoyable. Year after year. And I for one would like to see those movies back!! read more

I am very disappointed in the hallmark movie channel. ICE spends a lot of time watching their movies. I have seen most of them at least three times. Unfortunately the movies they show and claim begin at 9 o'clock in the evening really begin at 10 o'clock here in Phoenix, Arizona. That is too late for me to watch since I live in an assisted living group home and TV is turned off at nine. I have called Hallmark channel and told them that they advertise the movie at 9 o'clock but here in Phoenix it really begins at 10 they have promised to change it. It cannot go on at nine since that is the last hour of whatever show started at 8 o'clock, no show starts at nine on a Sunday evening. This is false advertising. It is sad because I would enjoy watching these five or six part movies that they show on Sunday evenings. Perhaps they will figure this out themselves and indicate that the show begins at 10 and not nine. read more

I would have given Hallmark Channel 5 Stars but they need to change their writers. Every story seems to be a different story with the same plot and the same ending. Otherwise, I love the excellent actors and actresses and the stories COULD be great if they would change up the plot. And, PUUULEEEEEEESE! Stop with the diversity thing. Considering the fact (Bureau of Census) that blacks comprise 13.3% of the US population, Asian 5.7%, Hispanic 17.8% and whites 76.9%, Hallmark has actually used MORE ethnic minorities in their movies than actually required by those who continually cry "race." And, those minorities are also cast in major parts - if that is supposed to be an issue as opposed to a strong supporting role. Get a life. read more

Hallmark Channel makes some good movies then when broadcasting them has the audio so low it is like watching a silent movie. Ads still blast out very loud. What is the point of making a making a movie and then playing it as a silent movie? I admit that I have some hearing loss but as the commercials are LOUD why not brodcast the movies at the same level Volume adjustment only affects the comercials. Adjustung the volume from 27 to 80 only causes the advertizing volume to increase The actual movie volume stays the same with most of the dialog to low to be heard. Once loved your Movie amd Mystries channel but unless the acors are shouting I might as well be watching a silent movie. Hallmark get a clue we want to watch movies when we can actually hear the dialog. It may be the greatest move ever but if I cannot hear the dialog over the background music what is the point. read more

A favorite for years... sad to say, no longer. Each coming year provides less and less faith based stories. Most movies have redundant storylines, or no meat to content. They can't seem to even come up with a rich true story. So if your looking for faith based movies with Christian values, you might be safe watching anything preceding 2018. Not everyone who watches quality TV is a lover of Christmas... even at Christmas-time. Please keep Christmas to December and let us have the rest of the year to watch quality (real quality) movies and TV shows. As of now, the only reason I keep HC is because when I drop it from my subscription I lose Smithsonian Channel and other high-quality stations. PLEASE STOP, STOP, STOP WITH ALL THE CHRISTMAS stuff. Christmas is in December, not July, August, October, November, December! Enough. There is much more to the calendar year than CHRISTMAS! Read your reviews! I am really disappointed at the station deciding to put on all sitcoms on Monday to Wednesday. I have cable mostly so I can get these channels. I am not paying to watch these sitcoms. For one I can't stand Reba. I wish this station would just play movies 24/7 although I would like more variety. Bring back some of the older ones and mix it up. Lastly I love Home and Family and I think it is a bad decision to cancel it. That new CEO needs to be fired. I just got done watching "MATCHING HEARTS"and the last 2 seconds of the movie there are couple dancing and in the background there are 2 men staring at each other with love in their eyes.
