My 12 year old son and I had such a nice experience with Sergio last evening that I wanted to write…read moresomething, as much to thank him as to write a review. For starters, Sergio is quick, fairly priced, knowledgeable and incredibly polite. But he is also a throwback to the days of craftsmen/craftspersons who take their work seriously and also take great pride in their workmanship. My son inherited a watch from my recently deceased father. After carefully sizing it for my son's smaller wrist and removing a few metal watchband links, Sergio looked my son in the eye, shook his hand, and told him to treasure the watch because he knew the significance of the timepiece to us. It isn't the monetary value, but Sergio and his wife understood instinctively the real value of the watch to us, and the ritual of handing down a family keepsake. It helped my son learn a lesson and I know he will value the watch more because of the way Sergio treated it. I just love this guy. He will have my jewelry repair business for as long as he is in the community.

He doesn't ever pay you what his website says that they pay for gold. He says that unless your selling him 15 grams you won't get that price. No wonder he's going out of business. He re-sells alot of used jewelry that people scrap. I would suggest going to another gold buyer so you don't go through what I did. Andre you disappointed me.

Needless to say it's good we didn't because we didn't last and probably would have thrown the rings out the window. However, the owner of Abracadabra helped us out and was such a sweetheart. He was patient and sat with us even though we probably looked crazy -- we both would dress in all black and a trench coat. He told us he would make a wax replica of the rings to make sure we liked them. Another time I went there was when I was going to get my mother a cross pendant, and the woman who helped me pored over catalogs with me, again, very patiently. One of my favorite reasons to go in here, however, is their doggie. Their dog hangs out from time to time and it gives the place a really chill, welcoming vibe. I think it's awesome when businesses have a well-loved pet hanging out, it puts everyone in a good mood.

Absolutely Terrible Experience and Unacceptable Business Practices at Benson Jewelers…read more I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with my recent experience at Benson Diamond Jewelers located at 35000 Warren Rd, Westland MI .In side Westland Mall. I attempted to redeem a gift card that was purchased on December 31st 2024 at their store, and I was met with nothing but incompetence and a complete refusal to honor it. Despite having the original receipt as proof of purchase, the staff claimed they could not accept the gift card because they had inexplicably failed to load any value onto it. This is utterly ridiculous and a clear indication of their negligence. I presented undeniable proof that the gift card was indeed purchased, yet they offered no reasonable solution or apology for their mistake. To simply refuse to accept their own gift card due to their error is beyond unacceptable and demonstrates a complete lack of customer service. To add insult to injury, while browsing their Pandora selection, I noticed a significant markup on their prices compared to what I've seen at official Pandora stores. Items were being sold for $15 to $25 more than their standard retail price. This blatant price gouging is unethical and makes it clear that this store is taking advantage of its customers. My experience at Benson Diamond Jewelers was nothing short of a nightmare. They not only failed to honor their own gift card due to their own mistake but also appear to be significantly overcharging for popular brands. I would strongly advise anyone considering shopping here to take their business elsewhere. This store lacks integrity, provides terrible customer service, and engages in questionable pricing practices. I will certainly never be returning and will be sharing my negative experience with everyone I know. The Owner Asked me why I waited 4 months to use the gift card. I didn't know I had to use it within a certain amount of time. The Gift card does not have an expiration date on it, nor does the original recipe. I would rate this store a 1 out of 5 stars (and that's being generous). WARNING - Do Not Shop at Benson Diamond Jewelers
