I LOVE Les Halles Laissac. It's a small covered market that features many small food shops for groceries shopping but also food stands that offer cooked dishes/meals, sandwiches and fresh seafood to eat on site on the terrasse outside or at one of the bar inside. Very friendly atmosphere and high-quality produce (ranging from veggies, fruits, cheese, charcuterie, fish, raw seafood, breads, ice cream, pastries and wine). Feel free to buy the bread and cheese you fancy to build your own meal to munch on site! The food and produce are excellent. read more

My husband and I went there for lunch on a weekday. There are a large selection of cooked and uncook food to choose from. I would get there early because there are limited seats available in the center of the hall. We shared two types of quiches, salad, ice cream and cakes between us. Everything is so delicious and fresh. read more

We walked 25min from our warm home ( it was little chilly this morning...) to this market this morning and it was worth it! All the veggies and fruits are more than half the price of other market, especially Marché Arceaux. For example - 3 butternut squash, 20 clementines, one bunch of pink garlic ( about 10 bulb or more, 4 Kumato tomato, 2 large red tomato was... 15 Euros! Can you believe that? Don't get me wrong, I love Marché Arceaux but I can't afford it everyday :) If you live here in Montpellier, this market is worth visiting. You have to bring lots of bags to shop!
