The lines run smooth for the most part although we happened to take an evening ride to Odysseum on Line 1 from Comedie and it broke down. However, the matter was resolved within the hour upon arrival of company employees. A lot of public transport apps have public transport maps of Montpellier's system. All 4 lines have a stop near the Montpellier train station which is convenient. Because we stayed 1 night in Montpellier, we bought a one-day pass (4.30 Euro per person) that we bought the first evening and it would expire a few hours after our train back to Nice. But for 8.60, we really made use of the trams taking at least 3 of the lines to both termini and back. The colors of the different tram lines on the outside and the inside is very appealing and they are very colorful. Also, you can use the tickets for any of the other services they operate besides tram such as the bus system. So it's really a value deal in the perspective of a tourist. You can't go wrong with affordable transportation, a smooth service, multiple lines, and more!!

C) A warm, relaxing interior with that Mediterranean charm and new updated and very comfortable seating. D) Very user friendly machines in various languages and great and helpful English speaking support staff E) easy and quick hop on hop off access to beautiful Monaco, Nice and Cannes. F) Clean and well taken care of. G) Spotless and well maintained restrooms. It costs the equivalent of 50 cents to use the premises and absolutely worth it. The vibe here is no stress and easy transfers as all continue their holiday just 6 miles from the Mediterranean Sea.

Some of…read morethe charging ports did not work, this station closes for a few hours during the night (when many other big or major train stations stay open 24 hours), the bathroom does not open until 7am even though the train station opens at 4:30am, and there is not really much service.

The staff were unpleasant and unhelpful (note that we are a bilingual, Franco-American couple, so there were no cultural or linguistic barriers). The tour itself gives very little background if any, so much so that you are better off discovering on your own by foot (e.g. "To your right is the post office." -- no more detail than that). Note that credit cards are not accepted below 30 euros, which is conveniently more than the 28 euros a family of four would need to pay, and do not expect the cashier to make change for you, "it's not his problem," as he told us.

Location is the strongest asset of this hotel. It is very close to both train and tram stations…read moreand is a short walk to all the joys of this wonderful city. There are both grocery stores and pharmacy close by as well as restaurants and bars, although there are better or both in the old city. Front desk staff are pleasant and helpful. All the staff speak multiple languages including English. There is a restaurant and bar as well as a delightful courtyard with pool and hot tub. The rooms are of reasonable size and clean. Doors to the shower room are glass, which means that turning on the light will wake up anyone still sleeping. Toilet and sink are in different rooms. One important note is that only superior rooms get a coffee machine, which cost the hotel one star from this reviewer because I NEED that cup first thing. There are no clothes drawers in the rooms and few shelves, making longer stays challenging. One perk is that the shower rooms have heated towel holders.
