This is a review for the Petit Train in Montpellier only, not in other cities where we had far…read morebetter experiences. The staff were unpleasant and unhelpful (note that we are a bilingual, Franco-American couple, so there were no cultural or linguistic barriers). The tour itself gives very little background if any, so much so that you are better off discovering on your own by foot (e.g. "To your right is the post office." -- no more detail than that). Note that credit cards are not accepted below 30 euros, which is conveniently more than the 28 euros a family of four would need to pay, and do not expect the cashier to make change for you, "it's not his problem," as he told us.
