The store was charming, the attendant hospitable, and you could clearly see a man working behind the glass building chocolates. I purchased a pretty wide range of choices to bring back to the states. The chocolate lait caramel is the BEST CHOCOLATE I've EVER EATEN. It is unbelieveably delicious. I want to take a trip back to Montpellier just to get some. We walked 25min from our warm home ( it was little chilly this morning...) to this market this morning and it was worth it! All the veggies and fruits are more than half the price of other market, especially Marché Arceaux. For example - 3 butternut squash, 20 clementines, one bunch of pink garlic ( about 10 bulb or more, 4 Kumato tomato, 2 large red tomato was... 15 Euros! Can you believe that? Don't get me wrong, I love Marché Arceaux but I can't afford it everyday :) If you live here in Montpellier, this market is worth visiting. You have to bring lots of bags to shop!
