I feel so lucky to have found this great filipino catering company. Lea was able to take my catering order on short notice (3 days prior to the event). I ordered the garlic fried rice, pancit canton, beefsteak and bbq chicken skewers. I have to say it was well above my expectations! The beefsteak and bbq chicken was very tender and juicy with great flavor. The pancit was delicious and not greasy or dry. My filipino family was very impressed. I first heard about Halle Lumpia because they have catered some local events that I have been to. They made some bomb mac and cheese, Hawaiian style teriyaki chicken, and pancit (filipino noodles). And after talking to Lea, the cook/coordinator, she informed me that she would be having a booth at the 626 Night Market. So I knew I had to check it out. And where would I be on July 4, 2015?? At a family/friend BBQ watching fireworks? NOPE! At the 626 Night Market on the hunt for the Halle Lumpia booth! It was cool, when I walked up to the front to order, they remembered me from the previous events. So I got the Pork Adobo Bowl with pork lumpia and garlic fried rice. The Pork Adobo was so bomb! And this is coming from someone that isn't even a big fan of homemade pork adobo. So yes. It was good. And you know the Lumpia was bomb too. Its in the name. :P. Service: Really friendly. This is my 3rd time ordering from this catering company. I stumbled upon this little gem when I was looking to get some lumpia catered for an event we were hosting. I think I had at least 5 guests ask where we got the lumpia from. Its definitely a must try! We ordered a tray of pork and a tray of veggie lumpia. Im not a big fan of veggie lumpia, but this one hit the spot. 2nd and third time we ordered from here we had full on dinners catered. Everything we tried was delicious and my wife said it was very authentic( my wife is filipino) . Prices are very good for what you get and the portions are generous. Must try the Lumpia, both pork and veggie, chicken adobo, and the shrimp pasta. Disappointed in the portions nothing like the pictures don't know how they got a solid 5 star rating! The trays in the pictures look full, but our 2 full trays of lemon butter salmon barely made 1 level across the full tray and same for the 2 full trays of the garlic shrimp skewers, which they said it was condensed into 1 full tray. The shrimp's were the smaller ones and dry and not good! Pancit got spoiled! Oh em geee is what I have to say about how delicious Hallelumpia is! For those that may not know, lumpia is a fried filipino eggroll. It is seriously one of the best things ever invented! Hallelumpia handrolls each lumpia and offers different types from veggie, beef, and pork. I am a meat lover myself but the veggie lumpia is my favorite. The vegetables are julianned and cooked just right. Their lumpia is fried to perfection with the crisp and crunchy outer layer and a delicious and flavorful filling. They offer 2 types of dipping sauce with the lumpia. One is a vinegar based sauce. It is considered a common table condiment in the Filipino culture. I love it myself although I have to say that it is an acquired taste. The other sauce is a sweet chili dipping sauce that is yummy as well and it gives the lumpia another layer of flavor. I found hallelumpia at the 626 Night Market. The line was long so, that to me, was a sign that the food must be good! Boy was I right!! Customer service was on par with just how good the food was.
