After a couple of years, I decided it was time to seek out a more personable practice. I came across Palm pediatrics,The office of Dr Ashley Bayer and Dr. Amanda Carrion. The office is decorated like a African safari!! A kid sized Jeep (that they can play in) separates two waiting areas (I'm assuming sick/non sick kids). They were very smart in doing this, my son was busy playing while I was filling out the medical paperwork we all love.The ladies are the front were very friendly and our wait wasn't very long to see Dr Carrion. Dr Carrion was very friendly and my son warmed up to her quickly . She was very through and took her time in examining him. She Even let him have a look at her instruments so he wouldn't be afraid. Overall I am so happy I made the decision to switch to this practice. We look forward to seeing Dr Carrion for many years to come !

This sounds like a preventative, holistic approach to healthcare- only using antibiotics when necessary AND support vaccination in the best interest of YOUR child's health. This needs to be reworded. They are not holistic, but rather trying to capitalize on the "trendiness" of the appearance of being conservative with antibotics. AND the vaccination policy is not in the best interest of YOUR child or individualized but rather they apply the old CDC guidelines with no exceptions. No flexibility in timeline or selection of vaccinations. Very disappointed in how they presented themselves on their website and when you google search "holistic" pediatricians they are at the top of the search. meaning, they probably paid for the search engine optimization to pull them when searching for holistic.

They also have Saturday hours and late evening hours which makes it super convenient for those of us working parents. The one thing that has always been great for us is when my daughter is sick, they have always been quick to fit her in. The office staff is always friendly and quick to call back when we leave a message. We have seen all of the MDs and have not been unhappy with any of them. They all work together to provide amazing pediatric healthcare. In addition to taking care of my daughter's health, they recently pierced her ears. This was done by Dr. Morrison. He was very meticulous in measuring and making sure all was even. All in all, we are happy to have found this team of doctors and nurses to be part of our daughter's village.

I've met a few pretty good instructors, some with great bedside manner, some with great professionalism, some with great patient interaction, and some that treat students well. I had yet to meet one who embodied all 5 of those traits. Every patient lit up as soon as he came into the door. Even a sick child could crack a smile even if that meant a shot or uncomfortable procedure was about to occur. He could make any kid laugh, asking "What's the fuss, Gus?" and calling all little guys "bros". He made cute faces and jokes at the right time. 30 years of experience has made him a true master. Parents love his bedside manner, advice, and his patience. Most importantly, he is a great teacher to medical students. He was the first attending to call me doctor in front of patients and truly instilled me in interest in pediatrics. I recommend him as a pediatrician, mentor, and advisee to any parent and child. After spending 1 week of pediatrics rotation with him, I really hope to be like him someday. He is excellent and his fund of knowledge is wondrous. He is definitely no "Doc in the Box"

Dr. Jay Cohen delivered all of my children, and after delivery, Dr. Lourdes Alamo became our go-to pediatrician. From that point on, she has helped me raise and care for my children through every stage of their growth. You know the saying, "It takes a village to raise a child"? Dr. Alamo was--and still is--a part of my village. She played such a meaningful role in my children's lives, and now they're all grown. My youngest is 20 and currently a junior in college majoring in Biology--largely inspired by Dr. Alamo's passion and the way she cared for her as a child. The most beautiful part? The staff is always friendly and I have never had a hard time making an appointment when my daughter is sick. We went from a single MD practice to a multi MD office and I was afraid I wouldn't get to know the MD. We use the same MD for my daughter's yearly and then can see any of the MDs for sick visits.
