Up the stairs behind the Mumok Museum, you'll find the terrace of the Halle Café Restaurant. It is really nice sitting there, and enjoy your meal and /or drinks!
Although there were 10 of us, the service was efficient and friendly, and we didn't have to wait too long for our meals.
They have two daily menus (one vegetarian and one with fish or meat), generally very appetizing. There are also several main courses (warm or cold) revisited with a modern touch of Asian or Italian cuisine; and it all tastes really good. As for their Cheeseburger, it was quite gastronomic and really appreciated by the men of our small troup!
The prices can be quite high for some dishes but for the rest it remains very reasonable, especially for the menus (V 8,50€ or F/M 9,50€).
They also have a long list of breakfasts, I'm pretty sure anyone could find his dream breakfast in here! read more
