FINALLY I had a reason to stop by... My brother was looking for a work truck and I noticed a bunch in their lot. We scoped out the website first and found a few options that fit his specs and budget, so I was the "scout" that got to run over there and see things first-hand. Dave was super friendly - he gave me the straight-scoop on what he had, where they came from, and options (some had undercoating sprayed on them, etc). The trucks were in great shape - brought in from Arizona, and you could tell. Not a spot of rust anywhere. Clean as a whistle. The time came for my brother come see them in person and it didn't take long. We dealt with Jacob - also super friendly - and after a quick test drive, it was a done deal. About 20 minutes of paperwork and you're out. I'm impressed. That's the most I've ever trusted a car dealer, and I appreciated their honesty. Pricing there is pretty firm - they price to sell and aim for volume sales. You can try to dicker - we didn't, mostly because the truck was already nicely priced. I struck out trying to get Jacob to throw in their Corvette as a "finder's fee". Ah well. :) Next time I'm in need of a vehicle, I'll certainly check them out. I'd recommend others do the same!

After thinking it over for several days, I went to test drive it and bought it right away. Dave was super helpful, friendly, and up front about everything. Had my bank account allowed it I would have left with a Jeep as well ;)

We purchased an auto from here that one year later, while attempting to trade it in at a legitimate 3rd generation owned car dealership in business since 1934, we were handed a CarFax showing that this car had been totaled by an insurance company due to an accident 1 yr prior to our purchase. This car was deemed by them as unsafe, unsellable and therefore worthless. This legitimate dealership was shocked that this car was sold let alone without disclosure of that information. (This was all much worse than our first disappointment, when 3 days after purchase, the battery had to be replaced by us.) The owner of Absolute Auto amongst the denial of responsibility, false statements, and blame shifting, he actually did acknowledge his knowledge of this fact prior to the sale of the auto to us, going so far as to say his shop did the work on the wrecked vehicle, but did not disclose any of it to us. Even then, he went on to accuse the well established and legitimate dealer of being the wrong doer in the situation. There was absolutely no mention of any kind to us prior to the purchase that this car had been in an accident, let alone one that caused the insurance company to deem it a total loss. He charged top blue book value on a vehicle he knew it was not worth and he would not get if the purchaser was aware of its history. A complaint had to be filed against Absolute Auto and its owner with the State of Wisconsin resulting in a sanction being issued against this dealer for not disclosing this information. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the hassle and headache or worse the risk to your safety and go to a legitimate dealership that follows standards when inspecting and selling vehicles.

He was well-prepared, walked me through the initial paperwork quickly, and sent me on a test drive with genuine encouragement to really get a feel for the vehicle. He even had the car cleaned up and ready with a big bow, which was a fun touch. After the test drive, Sam patiently guided me through the electronic paperwork with the right balance of humor and professionalism. He offered great advice on timelines, funding options, what to do if something like a manual is missing, and even encouraged an independent inspection. He also helped take photos of my new vehicle afterward. What really impressed me was that he also went above and beyond for my daughter, who was there for a separate transaction. He was friendly, took an interest in her compact car, and even helped remove some adhesive residue from the back of her vehicle. Sam made both of us feel welcome, valued, and respected. CarMax earned my respect (and loyalty) because of Sam's personality, professionalism, and genuine love for his job.

To say that, I generally drive around 10-15 miles per day, sometimes 20 miles per day on the weekend. Some days I do not drive. However, within 3 years, I replaced the shitty engine GDi, braking pads, braking discs, etc. Last year I replaced the AC compressor and this year I also replaced the AC compressor and the stirring wheel turns out to be defective. When I bought this shitty car, I ended up paying $19,000 plus taxes. Since then I have spent around $10,000 on this car and according to Kelly's book, now this car is worth $6,600. What I want to say is do not believe the Carmax description on the car that they sell what you pay for. They simply rip you off on your money. Plus, Kia is the worst car you want to have. This is a very scammy company that can lure you into buying very used, shitty car at a very high price. Do not trust these people and this company. I am leaving the comment because I bought this car in this location in West Madison.
