Finally able to stop in for a tasting, the day of the reopening, we were first guests of the day. What a great place for an in-person Yelp event, small group of course with distance restrictions still in place. There is a story behind the creation of the distillery, as well as some of the equipment being used (Something locally re-purposed in fact). We enjoyed the history as well as the informative tour, ending in the tasting room of this exceptionally clean facility. Drink recipes and tastings alike were very good. We favored the vodka, but the whiskeys (also a new one just approved for release) were good as well, but we are not big whiskey drinkers. The vodka is smooth, drinkable on its own, and I would say akin to Tito's, but smoother. Whiskey does not have an after bite taste if that helps those who imbibe. Great people, love that they are local in Cicero, NY, close to home for me. Purchased a special package that has limited availability, got the bottle and two glasses.
