I understand DJs have their own sets, but refusing to play even one reasonable request felt unnecessarily dismissive. What made it worse was having someone from his group come over afterward to tell me not to do that again, while the DJ doubled down on it. That interaction was incredibly unprofessional and left a really bad impression. They should seriously reconsider hiring this DJ again because, unfortunately, they lost my business tonight--and potentially the business of someone who regularly shares experiences with a social media audience. The one bright spot was Gina, who is truly the BEST server. She was fantastic, and I genuinely hate that this experience means I won't feel comfortable coming back.
