I found this shop randomly from a google search. I Was looking for a barbershop not too far from the ucla campus and Culver City, that could do a clean tapper fade. I had three places to try out and I didn't get to them, after my experience at Carlos's. Jesus welcomed me in and told me to point at the cut I wanted on the chart and I he would make my hair look like the picture. And he has never failed me. He's always on time, and never was in a bad mood which is important when somebodies altering your appearance. It's a clean shop, with a TV and a fan (standard). There's plenty of free parking, so no running for the meters in a smock. I'm use to frequenting my favorite local Black owned Barbershop in the Bay Area with haircuts $17 bucks a pop. But, This shop made me feel like I was at home, when I was new to the area. Now that I'm out of the area, when I do make my way down to LA I make sure to make an appointment to visit Jesus.
