Absolutely disgusting workmanship from this Bishop Auckland Halfords garage services. Paid for 2 tyres to be fitted and the untrained fitter damaged 2 alloy wheels in the process. If not bad enough nothing was said when collecting car obviously hoping l wouldn't see the damage then try say l must of curbed wheels over night. I returned to the service centre after 10 mins to show the damage and the manager admitted fault. Fast forward a week and l have paid for 1 wheel to be refurbished as badly damaged but they are refusing to admit liability on the 2nd alloy now even with photos clearly showing identical damaged markings.
Left invoices for alloy wheel refurb and fuel cost for 4 journeys to Durham and still not had any refund so far. The service and attitude of staff in this centre can only be described as cowboys. I will never use Halford garage services again as simply untrustworthy. 33 years l've worked in the motoring trade and this garage has been the worst attitude l've ever experienced. read more
