Best vegan food in Louisville!!! I ordered a custom red velvet cake and it was absolutely delicious. We also got the spicy "beef" and cabbage. And the stir fry noodles. All was outstanding. The nachos are delicious there usually too. And I have heard great things about the pizzas as well. They do vegan perfectly!! The owners and employees there are always so kind and friendly. I absolutely love coming. It is a bit hard to find for newbies. You can find it around the front of the building.

French toast bread pudding

This place is not the easiest to find (it's at the back of the mixed use building it inhabits), and has just a small storefront with the option for online ordering as well. Their selection is quite limited and on the pricier side, as well as being vegan for them, so the question is given all those priors can they deliver a level of quality to make it worth my while to drive there. A "beast" brownie had a lot of things going on-too much, really. With the cracker and some sort of marshmallow fluff inside, it was sort of like a s'more, but the flavor didn't really come together. A French toast bread pudding was an interesting creation that was heavy on fruit and smooth in flavor, albeit with a bit of an odd aftertaste. In the end I don't think this place is going to draw a ton of people who aren't in the target audience (the vegans and others with very niche dietary needs). Only a few vegan bakeries do that. But if you are someone who needs what they're offering here, you can expect satisfaction.

VEGAN spinach and artichoke pizza.

I ordered ahead of time a spinach and artichoke pizza, and tres leches cake. Both were very good. The place is in an office building of sorts, in the back. There are two sides, connected with an open doorway. The first side has the counter, drink and dessert fridge, and the kitchen behind the counter. My food was ready. I took it through the doorway and sat at one of the empty tables. It was clean, quiet, and pleasant. I would come here again if I lived nearby.

We stopped by on a road trip and we're very glad we did! The food was amazing, service was quick, and the inside was cute! We ended up getting food to bring back with us, and some cookies/cheesecake. If we drive through again, we will 100% be stopping again!

Busted a mission to Louisville from Lexington because the vegan options (especially for sweets) are lacking here. Arrived to half peach and was confused by the extremely small looking storefront, once you walk in you realize they have a whole other side for seating w restrooms. We were greeted warmly by a cashier and she was being trained by I assume the owner. We picked out several cakes and a few savory items from the fridge and paid and made our way out after taking a quick look around. We're gremlins and preferred to eat our cake in the car For savory we got the cashew cheese sauce and the chickn & dumplings. We also wanted wonton soup but I didn't want to wait for it to be prepared so we skipped it. Next time we will order ahead. Maybe for a pizza too! Since we were planning on getting more food from another restaurant we were trying to A stick to a budget and B not get too much to bring home. The cashew cheese is so tasty, we had it with some rice and veggies. Definitely a hit in our house and oil free, a huge plus! The chickn dumplings is heating up now but we tasted it cold and if it's that flavorful and tasty cold I can't wait to eat the rest! On to the cake, my 5 year old annihilated the Oreo cake but we were able to sneak a bite and it was very reminiscent of red velvet cake. Very moist and tasty. The carrot cake and strawberry cake both so moist and delicious. I find that most vegan places try to overcompensate with sugar to make a vegan dessert good. This wasn't like that at all. The carrot cake had walnuts and carrots and was perfectly spiced, the frosting was sweet but not cloyingly sweet. It was delightful. The strawberry cake reminded me of a good tres leches I ate many times as a kid in Los Angeles from authentic Mexican bakery. Idek if it was supposed to be like that but it was sweet and creamy and had a lovely strawberry flavor. I worry about my wallet the next time I'm in Louisville. I simply want one of everything next time. Don't miss this vegan bakery. It is superb.

Buffalo Chik'n Pizza Shrimp Po Boy biscoff

As a Vegan this is my favorite place, I am so glad to support a business that i see as practical and ethical. Also, every time I have been there the owner has been there and you know she works so hard to deliver quality food, that is good for you. There was only one time where I was unsatisfied with one of the slices of cake I bought from the fridge, and she gladly replaced with 2 more slices of cake! I have been here many times and have tried almost everything on the menu and it is all delicious! My not-yet vegan wife's favorite is the biscoff cheesecake and the shrimp po- boy. I love the raw strawberry cheesecake and the avo Maria pizza is heavenly! (Best pizza on the menu in my opinion) There has been multiple times where me or my wife bought a lot of food and she blessed us with free cookies! To sum it all up there are a ton of options, the quality of the food is fantastic and I only hope to see them grow so more can see how awesome it is to be vegan! Ps. I have almost always gotten food to-go but there is a nice dining area inside

My girlfriend purchased some strawberry vegan cupcakes for me for my birthday. Let me just say they were out of this world. The woman who owns the bakery is so kind and caring. 10/10 would recommend to everyone.

Sadden me and daughter to watch and hear the staff belittling one of the cities homeless. It was entirely too hot outside and in order to ensure they'd let him stay in I paid for his order and got him an extra cake which they didn't even want to serve him. I had to ask them to let him pick out what he wanted... the snark and sarcasm.... The comments made... I understand he in the past took a few bucks out the tip jar to pay for something to eat- but clearly he's hungry enough to do that... show some kindness and grace. Talking bad about him won't help! Showing him more harm won't help... I know these two girls are young and clearly haven't been through anything in life and can understand how fortunate they are enough to give to others. That's a lesson they'll end up learning the hard way and that's sad. Even if this location is convenient... I can't imagine going back if this is how they allow the staff to treat people who are already going through enough trauma and don't need to be mistreated and put down further into the dirt.

Pros - made to order, fresh, gooey-center rolls Cons - holy sweetness overload. I am a sweets and baked good junkie, but these were too much for me. Had to try a signature option so we went with the Shake Rattle & Roll and it was so loaded with sugar and icing that I could hardly find the roll. Some may consider this a good problem, but I'd prefer a more balanced ratio. The cake batter frosting on the customized roll seemed to melt better and offered a more traditional roll experience, but it is still incredibly sweet. I found the pretzels to be fairly stale, but the bananas were freshly sliced. Staff were sweet and efficient

It was a day in Ramadan and my family was just looking for a treat. When we entered it was clear they were packing up to close so we just requested two rolls and a zucchini bread to go. As we were paying I noticed a lot of activity packing stuff but we didn't realize anything. As we go to leave the sweet owner handed us a heavy bag of cinnamon rolls with a tub of icing. And along with being a treat to look at, they're a treat to eat as well. I've gotten the opportunity on a few occasions, most recently at Bernheim Forest's ColorFest. I was impressed by first the creativity. Love the paint-your-own cookie kits, which include a white iced cookie and a sheet with edible watercolor paints. And to eat, I got one of the chocolate chip cookies. This was sweet, soft, chewy -- everything I want in this classic cookie. If you see Baked out and about or if you need some beautiful cookies made for a special occasion -- or even a not-so-special occasion too; they're good for all -- I highly recommend Baked.

Delivery was available on Saturday for a $5 up charge. I found them on the Louisville Take Out Facebook site. People asking about paint your own cookies were communicating with Baked or praising them for previous orders. Ordering online was easy and I got a confirmation that my order was received. A few days later I got my invoice (everything is pre-pay). Very simple process and my invoice confirmed my order for pickup and another for delivery. We purchased 6 shortbread cookies and with them got 4 plastic cups with food dye plus 2 paintbrushes. Decorating 6 was enough for me and my boys. The dye needed a couple of coats to stick so it wasn't a quick paint job. The cookies are really good - very sweet! I didn't need more than one for dessert. We also sent cookie packages to our parents and they loved them too. Delivery was on time and they rang the doorbell at drop off. Thank you Baked! I'll definitely continue to use and recommend them to others. I'm glad to see our local community supporting them. They're having some of their strongest sales ever!
