We have ordered cookies from her for a housewarming gift, and didn't have a clue as to what to get. Well it was Emily to the rescue! She had the idea to do cookies in the shape of keys, and also a front door with a wreath on it!! Since I'm not very creative, she was able to just put it ALL together (even the colors!) for me just right off the bat!! They couldn't have been more adorable, and everyone loved their sugar cookies; I felt like the hero all night, and I didn't even do anything but buy them, haha! We'd also gotten a simple cake from Emily a couple years ago for my friend's first birthday party. It was only about 10 people, so my friend didn't want anything over-the-top; she just wanted a really small cake that would be cute for pics. My friend's dad had passed away right before this, and he was a fireman, so Emily created the perfect little cake, designed perfectly for her little guy. On top of that, it was chocolate and delicious!! We've also gotten her holiday cookies-- she sells out SUPER quickly, so make sure you place an order in time! We missed out one year because we waited until the last minute. They're the cutest things I've ever seen!! We will ALWAYS be patronizing Emily, and we feel lucky to have our "own dessert chef" from now on! (Haha, sounds silly, but Emily has made us feel like family! ) I'm going to come back to add pics / edit if I can.. I don't have them toward the front of my phone and it could take hours to find them, but I will eventually!! Thank you Emily Wheeler Custom Cakes- you've made our lives so much sweeter!!

She did my best friend's wedding as well, both themes very different, but both turned out amazing! She was such a pleasure to work with. She supplied everything! Cake stands, candy jars, scoopers etc! It turned out wonderful! My guests still rave about the cake pops! I highly recommend her!

And along with being a treat to look at, they're a treat to eat as well. I've gotten the opportunity on a few occasions, most recently at Bernheim Forest's ColorFest. I was impressed by first the creativity. Love the paint-your-own cookie kits, which include a white iced cookie and a sheet with edible watercolor paints. And to eat, I got one of the chocolate chip cookies. This was sweet, soft, chewy -- everything I want in this classic cookie. If you see Baked out and about or if you need some beautiful cookies made for a special occasion -- or even a not-so-special occasion too; they're good for all -- I highly recommend Baked.

I loved the way the pistachio cream on the inside leaked out as I was eating away. The chef was so patient with me as I ordered my food, as I had to make a choice. My daughter went with the Dubai strawberry cup. I thoroughly enjoyed my dish, however she wasn't a fan of the Dubai cup. I knew she wouldn't be! She likes melted chocolate and the chocolate on these strawberries was already hardened. As always the asthetics of this place is wonderful. Prices may seem high, but they're totally worth it for the flavor and beauty. We could not get over how tasty the blackberry tart was. It had the perfect amount of sweet, salty, and tart! Every bite was heaven. We also got a triple berry croissant. It was stuffed with berries and cream. Very beautiful and delish! My only complaint is that they don't have prices listed in the store. That may be a good thing though because I could buy the whole store lol. You can order online and see prices there.
