The dentist also failed spectacularly to grasp that when an adult is genuinely needle phobic, you can't approach them with a needle without some discussion, or you will humiliate your patient. I was embarassingly distressed and in a mess when I got home. I decided to switch practice when he hurt me for the second time in the follow-up apppointment. Reception is more stark than a vet's practice and I was made to wait 2 weeks for an appointment, with them knowing I was in pain from toothache. Worst practice I've ever seen - there's no excuse for any of this.

Luckily I was in very capable hands of oral surgeon Mr Fadi Barrak ad his assistant and the whole procedure was very simple and as pain free. Following the procedure, I was well looked after and had a taxi ordered for me ready to take me home. The main reason I had decided not to go private was due to the cost, but I honestly believe I would have not received any higher quality treatment if I had chosen the private option. With each and every consultation or treatment, I have always received the best customer care possible. The reception team are wonderful and provide a lovely friendly service and can't do enough to accommodate you! It definitely makes going to the dentist that bit more bearable.
