    Blossom Tea and Zesty Ginger

Pleasantly surprised by this spot after my wife suggested it. It's a bit unassuming, but the food was excellent. There was a short wait, which is exactly what you expect when everything is made fresh, and it was worth it. I had the kafta wrap combo and she had the chicken shawarma combo, both were packed with flavor and the sauces were outstanding. She had the zesty ginger drink and I went with the blossom tea, both were really good. The dining area is small but comfortable. We also met the owner, who confidently said his lamb shanks are the best in town, and I will definitely be back to try them. We will be back.

I've had my fair share of Mediterranean food and Hilal House added another element to this cuisine, Moroccan food. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and the flavors I experienced at Hilal House. If not for the reviews on Yelp, I might have passed this place over. Not only was the food a delight but the owners went above and beyond to make sure I experienced their fare as close to authentic as possible. They even gave me the delight of experiencing Moroccan tea for the first time. The ambiance and atmosphere is nothing fancy but if you can get passed the carryout preparations, you will be pleasantly satisfied with choosing to eat and dine here. The lamb shank is fall off the bone and so flavorful, the saffron rice a delicious compliment and the Hilal House sauce a blast of flavor. The soup was rich and savory and perfect for a cool evening.

Traveling through and saw all the 5 star Yelp reviews and had to try it and it did not disappoint! The wraps/sandwiches were filing and tasty. They made the falafel vegan and it was flavorful. The service was friendly and highly recommend. We will be coming back. Just an FYI-There is no public restroom.

Fast casual spot for a shawarma! I got the chicken shawarma with fries and it was all made fresh.

I rode my bike to drop off mail at the post office and this place was nearby. For lunch, it's a casual fast food Mediterranean style cuisine. They have a drive/thru. Limited seating. Kinda expensive for fastfood fare. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma for to-go. It was a long wait, but worth it. So delicious. Full of flavor. It made my top three best all-time chicken shawarma.

After presenting at UNLV with a few other professionals on a Friday evening from 5:00 P.M to 7:30 P.M, I was ready to get some food! Originally, my husband and I had planned on visiting Shang Artisan Noodle, however, it was about a 45 minute wait. Looking at restaurants in the area, we saw Halal House pop up on our Yelp Search. We decided to go to Halal House for a late dinner! We had arrived around Halal House at 8:30 P.M. It's right next to the Fantastic Indoor Swap Meet off of the 95/Decatur exit. There was plenty of parking spots available. As soon as we walk inside the restaurant, ever single table was in use! We were excited since if it was so busy, the food must be amazing! With such glowing reviews, and how popular it was during a Friday evening at 8:30 p.m., we were so excited to try out the food! The Halal House uses fresh ingredients an bold seasonings! Their menu has a variety of options such as the following Platters: (served with saffron veggie rice and one skewer) -Grilled Kafta Beef -Grilled Chicken Kabab -Beef Steak Brochette Make Your Own Plate! -Pick your base (Rice/Salad) -Pick your protein (Chicken, Kafta, Gyro, Falafel) -Top if off (Pita bread, hummus, Tzatziki) -Pick a Sauce (Halal House Sauce, Tahini, Green Sauce) Bocadillo Moroccan Sandwich Combos Starters and Sides (Chicken Wings, Fries, Fried Eggplant, Samosas and more) Soups & Salads (Harira Soup, Lentil Soup, Greek Fiesta Salad) It was difficult to choose from all of the amazing options. I ended up making my own plate which included Chicken, Saffron Rice, Pita, and Hummus. No Sauce. My husband also had the same except with the Halal House Sauce, and Kafta. Since it was super busy, we did end up waiting about 40 minutes for our order. The wait was totally worth it though! The food was amazing. The chicken was super tender. The hummus and pita bread was scrumptious! The saffron veggie rice was delicious! Mixing the chicken and the saffron veggie rice highlighted all of the flavors! This place has some of the most authentic and fresh Moroccan and Mediterranean food in Vegas! Everything was made from sctach. It was fresh, and flavorful! Next time I stop by here, I'll have to try out the Bocadillo Moroccan Sandwich!

I was craving for a good falafel bowl so I came to this place after reading the reviews. The falafel platter was really good. Rice is very flavorful and the falafel is soft and light. I also ordered Fried Eggplant which was the best. Definitely recommend this restaurant. Owner and the staff were very sweet too. And the restaurant was very clean. Will come back again.

Food here is great! I ordered the lamb shank plate that came with rice. Lamb very flavorful and tender. Rice was delicious. Very personable young man, Abraham, assisted me. Restaurant mainly for take out with 4-5 tables. Took home hummus and pita bread. Also delish! Will definitely return to try other dishes. Highly recommend.

Made a trip to try this restaurant out. Food was great. Chicken kabab sandwich and the lamb shank were epic. Lamb shank fell off the bone and the jasmine rice was seasoned just right. Nonetheless, I am likely not returning. Not for lack of taste, but rather the owner everybody raved about, just seemed to be having a rough day and I don't want to travel 20 minutes to just have a weird experience. I thought everything was going to be relatively normal, as we waited for a customer to pay their bill. Owner welcomed us. I started placing order...and THEN he just walked away towards the kitchen to take a moment and YELL at the kitchen staff. No notice. No explanation. Just turned and walked thru the kitchen doors. He was clearly mad at the world (not me, although maybe he is if he reads this review). He returned 30 seconds lter, and picked up asking us what menu items we desired. Just weirdest service experience in awhile. Love the food, just not the vibe. Hope others have the friendly experience with the owner that other Yelpers are commenting about, and my experience was simply a bad "one off" day.

This place was insane, I went with 2 friends, we're all from LA(where there is supposedly the best food), but this place was a different level. Service was outstanding, owner is so nice and extremely helpful. It really feels family owned and can just feel taken care of. 12/10, easily top 10 I've had in my life.

Be sure to check your order before you leave. I ordered extra sauce and pita for two make your own plate entrees. When I arrived home there was no extra sauce or pita. I called the restaurant and received an apology as it was "chefs mistake" and was told to enjoy my meal. The irony. Ambiance is a quaint establishment with minimal seating.

Halal House Med We went for a long hike and were tired and drained from the heat - but one thing sounded really good: mediterranean food. This had the highest reviews and we had to try it. We walked and ordered a lot. The chef/owner stepped out from the back and welcomed us. He was gracious enough to tell us that the arugula had gone bad so he didn't want to use it for the falafel pita wrap and arugula salad. He was extremely friendly and we chatted with him the whole evening. I could see why his food was the best, because he had true passion for cooking. We ordered the following: Hummus: the BEST hummus in Vegas because it was fresh and creamy. All house made. Tzatziki sauce: also fresh made and tasted delicious. Fried eggplant: the BEST fried eggplant because it was extremely flavorful and well seasoned. Falafel pita wrap: the yogurt paired really well as a sauce with the wrap and made the falafels taste even better. Falafel bowl: amazing falafels that were perfectly crispy and not too hard or soggy. Well seasoned. The rice was appetizing, salad tasty, and the sauce amazing. Harira soup: reminded us of Indian dhal so we had no complaints here. After a long talk dinner session and chat with the owner, he let us try the Zesty lemon ginger mint drink and it was a perfect way to end the meal as as it refreshing and made a nice kick to the ginger. Overall, this is the best mediterranean location in Vegas hand down as the food is authentic and the service is excellent.

The six-course meal was absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was flavorful, beautifully prepared, and delicious. I especially loved that parts of the dining experience were interactive, it made the evening feel even more special and immersive. The ambiance was perfection. The warm red glow, gorgeous decor, and thoughtfully dim lighting created an elegant, intimate atmosphere without making it difficult to see. Every detail made it feel like I had been transported somewhere truly special. The live entertainment was the perfect finishing touch. The belly dancers were incredibly talented and added so much energy and authenticity to the evening. Combined with the music, it created an experience that was about so much more than just dinner. One of my favorite moments happened as soon as I was seated, when my hands were ceremonially washed. It was such a unique and welcoming touch that set the tone for the rest of the night. Our server was outstanding. Once he learned it was my first time visiting, he made sure I felt welcomed and took great care of us throughout the entire evening. The service was attentive without ever feeling intrusive. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left, everything was flawless. Marrakech isn't just a restaurant, it's an experience. I've had Greek food that was more flavorful. Greek food tends to be a bit pricier than others so I have a higher standard. I can brag on a few things. The restaurant was very clean and cute. I loved that they had TVs and we could watch the World Cup game that was on. You order your food up front, pay, grab your drink, and then sit down with your number. They bring the food out to your table. I love the CocaCola freestyle machines. Unfortunately this one didn't have any diet or zero options other than Aha sparkling water. That was a bit disappointing. They do have canned Diet Coke along with some interesting Greek drinks in a refrigerator. I ordered the gyro plate and my son got the falafel gyro. We both got the feta fries. These are really delicious. There was so much feta and herbs on the crispy, coated fries. My portion was great on my gyro plate. The salad was pretty but the Greek dressing was very mild and lacking in flavor for me. The same with my gyro meat. It was just okay. When you mix beef and lamb, it creates this delicious flavor and I just didn't get that here. The tzatziki was very bland to me. It was almost just straight yogurt. My son's falafel pita was very good. It was soft in the inside with the slight crisp on the outside. It was a large size pita and filled up my teenage boy. The desserts sounded delicious and the baklava in the case next to the registers were phenomenal looking. We didn't make it that far to get to have dessert. Since my son loved it so much, we will be back. I will try a different plate next time and hopefully be able to get dessert also.

This review is for Las Vegas Restaurant Week…read more This restaurant week set meal was truly amazing. It's been a long time since I've been wowed by a restaurant. I highly recommend everyone try their lunch. The price is incredibly reasonable, and the food quality is top-notch! For an appetizer, a whole fish entree, and a dessert, the Restaurant Week special is only 40 bucks! Even if you can't make it out to taste the food during Restaurant Week, their usual lunch prix fixe (with the same dishes) is only 45 bucks. Compared to the Mayfair Supper Club I just went to, this place handles their fish remarkably well. It perfectly retained the tenderness and juiciness of the fish, and the skin and edges had a bit of charred, fire-roasted aroma. It left me thinking with great satisfaction: this is exactly how fish should be prepared--simple! The octopus appetizer was also incredibly tender with absolutely no fishy taste. The kitchen's grilling technique and heat control are just exceptionally well-handled. I also quite liked their dessert, Greek yogurt and candied orange peel. I think using orange peel has an advantage: even though it's been candied, it still retains the natural bitterness of the peel, so it's not overly sweet. Speaking of olive oil, the olive oil at this place deserves a shout-out too. It has a very strong grassy aroma and a distinct, pleasant bitterness with a sweet aftertaste. We also added an order of their signature appetizer, which is thinly sliced zucchini and eggplant fried and stacked into a tower. It was seriously so crispy and delicious!!! And very eye-catching! This dish is great for sharing, though it did get a little greasy toward the end, since it is fried after all. This single appetizer costs a whopping 41 bucks! It's even more expensive than the Restaurant Week set menu! But it's super eye-catching and tastes great! Oh well, let them have my money.
