This location has nothing to do with express, good customer service, or good food. The customer demand was high when I arrived to pick up my online order. I waited 30 min on a line to ask for my food status, then another 15 min to get my food. This restaurant's customer service has got to be the worst thing I've ever experienced. Their register, cooking, and food service processes are weak to non-existent. Simply put, the old gentleman manning the front is overwhelmed and acknowledged they were understaffed. After he made that comment, I kindly recommended hiring staff to help support his business. He did not like my suggestion and told me to cancel my order if I couldn't wait. I have sympathy for him because he was overwhelmed at the time, but this is definitely not what you want to hear as a paying customer. Running a business is not for everyone. Running a business and working behind the counter is definitely not for most. I feel awful leaving such a poor feedback, but I hope the owner takes what I'm saying as constructive criticism and changes many things so they can become better situated for success. Never before have I spent so much money on so little food that tasted so poorly. Their options are scant. The rice was dry and tasteless. The kabab contained little meat, and the spices they used tasted like salt and pepper mixed with mayonnaise. The service was sub-par. They upcharge for dine-in. The only negative aspect of this restaurant is the taste. Despite this, the owner is friendly, the food is halal and it is open till 12am. In all honesty this place can improve a lot if they work on the taste of the food items on their menu. We had their Chicken Shawarma and Beef Philly steak. It was hard for us to decide which was worse. We begrudgingly had a third of our sandwiches and slept hungry. Also to add the dessert wasn't any good either, way too sweet and lack of flavour once again. This is easily the worst halal restaurant I have been to. I ordered 2 Philly Cheese Steaks, 1 chicken shawarma, 1 falafel sandwhich, and 1 beef gyro. The Philly Cheesesteaks do not look like the picture on the wall at all. It was poor quality bread opened up. The cheese and beef was completely separate. I wouldn't even call it real cheese. It was definitely a form of cheese sauce that did not taste good at all. The falafel sandwich was also poorly made. The falafels were burnt, hard, and had the texture of meatball, which it should not. The gyro was also extremely sloppily made. The beef itself was okay, but did not taste fresh. However, there was very little sauce and even worse, absolutely no salad. I literally had half a slice of a small tomato, and that's it. The salad was basically not there, as other pictures have shown. We also got fries but they were cold and tasted like there were a day old. Definitely not freshly made. There was only 1 man working at the time. After getting my food I went back to get 2 sodas for my family. The price of the soda was not listed on the menu, so I gave the man a $50 dollar bill. He handed me the sodas, and that's when I saw that the sodas were an outrageous $2 per can. I asked for a refund and he refused. This is another rule which was not written anywhere which I think is very unfair. The cans were not opened and barely touched. After I went back to my car to eat with my family, the man violently threw my money back at me in the car. I will never be eating at this place again! Place was really busy with nowhere to sit but orders came out quickly and we easily had somewhere to sit after 5 minutes or so. Everyone in the party ordered gyros and we added a small pepperoni pizza cause we were famished. Gyros and fries came out hot and delicious. Fries had a nice seasoning salt sprinkled on them. The cheese on the pizza was a bit undercooked for my liking but it still was good. Simply put being really tired and hungry this place delivered a quality meal in a timely fashion. I forgot to take pics but everything was great!! We had halal pepperoni pizza, a gyro, a hot dog, & fries. Everything was delicious and fresh. I enjoyed every bite and so did my family. They used great quality meat for the gyro which was a plus. Even the fries were great. I'm glad they don't use cheap ingredients. I went here on 11/15/21 out of curiosity. Thin crust pizza which is the best (personal opinion), so I'm not eating an excessive amount of bread. I had the gyro pizza, it was excellent. So I have been living in Orlando for 10 years and by far this is the best family restaurant for pizza , gyros and wings along with rotisserie chicken . The taste is amazing specially the fresh ingredients. Super hard to find any halal pepperoni pizza in town but Halal food express got it . What great service!! First, the food was fresh and awesome!! I had a gyro and it was the best gyro I have found in Orlando. The customer service was 5 star all day, just like the food.
