I've been getting my hair cut and touch-up with Louise and Amelie for years. I choose this hair place because it's close to my home, and the owners treat their customers with honesty and down to earth, get things done working ethic. read more

This man is a pro! Very nice cut and fast! Men's cut should be 25 but i only got 24 in cash. Lou told me don't worry about the one dollar. Will definitely come back! read more

Hair's Looking At You - Barbers Near Me - Millbrae, California

My go to barber. I am a simple guy when it comes to haircuts so I can come to Louis here and tell him I want something short and let him work his magic. He's so good that my entire family is willing to make the 30 min drive to Millbrae to see him and get our hair done. Highly recommend. read more

I walked into the shop 2 hours before it was closing, and there were only 2 other people waiting. Before I could even say anything the owner just said "Busy! Very busy, come back tomorrow". I looked around and there was another barber finishing up with their appointment, and I asked if maybe they could take me instead. Nope. All I got again from him was "Busy, come back tomorrow". Like okay, what time? Nothing. Was taken aback by how rude he was. I get that people have a bad day, but he could've just said "Sorry we're closed early" or "Sorry we're all booked up, but let's make an appointment". Needless to say I wouldn't come back, don't need that type of vibe. read more

After a long search for a hairdresser, my search has ended. I found Hair's Looking At You! Louis gave me a great haircut where others could not. I wanted a nice Bob cut to fit my face and he was spot on. I have now found my hairdresser and am very happy. Give Louis a try. A man of few words, listens to what you want - I showed pictures, and his command of his scissors did the rest. I am very happy now! He is very skilled. read more

Using him for last 16 years. Since i was a kid maybe only had 2 haircuts due since that time that was not from him and that because he was out of town or i was haha. read more

He's been my stylist for the past 20 years. I don't have to tell him how I like it. He just knows! Thanks!

I walked by tonight and decided to give this place a try as I could not stand my hair anymore. Pun Ho the stylist was just finishing the haircut of another customer so he asked me to wait a few minutes, and I am glad that I waited as he gave me one of the best scalp-stimulating hair shampooing and conditioning experiences that I have ever had before my haircut. So I am happy that I opted for the cut with shampoo and blow dry option instead of just a haircut. He asked me how I would like my hair cut and did an amazing job in giving me a beautiful haircut. Thank you Pun Ho! read more

If you can find another one that is so cheap and high quality near Millbrae area, I would be very surprised. I have tried Millbrae, San Bruno, San Francisco, finally found this one. Most people have their haircut here are Asians. My mom had her hairs done and then recommended it to me. We Asians men or women, generally have very high aesthetic standard when it comes to haircut. I am just very satisfied with the haircut and the price. They may not have a very humble and courteous staff smiling and greeting at you. But who cares? All I want is just a good nice haircut with affordable price. The guy is always busy, and you either gotta make appointment or stand in line and wait. Also make sure you use cash to pay. read more

I love this place. I have been to about 8 different hair cut places in the Bay Area (even ones that run in the $60 plus). So far it's been 4 haircuts and consistently great each time Only real negative is that wait can be long,. but that leaves me time to get Boba :) read more

Went in for a haircut and it came out terrible, he literally cut my hair like a joke... Unacceptable

Economic place for a quick haircut. Louis is pretty professional and can make whatever hairstyle happens.

This is how my conversations go with Louis when I get my haircut. Louis: "Haircut?" Me: "Yup" Louis: "Same?" Me: "Yup" And that's that. My haircut turns out great every time. I treat my barber/stylist/haircutter person/whatever like I do my mechanic, once I find a good one...I stick with it. It helps that he's inexpensive too. read more

It's hard to believe how this people stay in business, Louis was rude and he can't cut hair. I don't think he has any formal training. I have a hair cut recently and it was horrible. They were uneven, partial uncut and I think I would have done a better job myself with my eyes closed. read more

I get haircuts here occasionally, and I'm always pretty satisfied with the result. I guess the guy's name is Louis, based on the other reviews. He's quick, cuts it how you ask him to, and does a good job with attention to detail. Not at all rude and doesn't really make small talk unless you engage him. Perfect. read more

Louis is the owner of the place and also cuts my hair. He is very patient and doe a great job from what I want. Great price and great service. I'll be back for another visit soon. read more

I was very disappointed! It was the most traumatizing haricutting experience in my life. My instruction to Louis, the owner, was 1 to 2 inches shorter and in layers but he axed my hair. The worst part was at the back of my hair the right side was shorter and than the left side and the layers on the right side did not align to the left side. I did not realize it until I went home. I will not go to that Salon again!! read more

I've been at this place for 2 years and the barber even remembers my style. Very nice service.

I have to admit Louis can cut hair! I've tried other places, but they just cant cut my hair the way I like it. Louis is very patient, takes his time tapering my hair to a perfection. The great part is he only charges 16 for a haircut! read more

Came in as a walk-in for a facial and to get rid of some white heads and found May. She was excellent! May was so patient and diligent about her work. Getting rid of the white heads and pimples didn't hurt at all, and she made my skin far brighter than before. I've had other facials before at other places in Millbrae, but I'll be sure to go back to May again in the near future. Definitely a gem! Thanks, May! read more

my coworker referred me to Louis. I am not very picky at hair stylist, but the haircut by Louis is horrible. I can do a better job than him. there is no layer,at all, looks like he just cut it straight. the next day, I went to another hair salon nearby to have it fixed. I would never come back to this hair salon. read more
