We ended up going full bang and she did an excellent job. I am not from Frankfort, but I will be coming back here for my haircut just so I can see Ellie. I have been going to this salon for a year now, and every time my experience has been beyond…read morestellar. I see Kim for haircuts and bang trims. She always treats me like I'm her BFF, and is very easy to work with. If I tell her "I don't know what I want, just do something" she is not afraid to take a leap of faith and try something. If I tell her I really want something, she tells me her honest, professional opinion about how it may or may not work on my head. She's just my favorite! Thanks for my awesome bangs Kim! The rest of the staff is great, too. Especially the salon manager,Christa (or Krista...sp?). She always acknowledges your arrival even if she's busy. She will help you our in a pinch ... like squeezing me in when I just needed to get a bang trim because they were too long and driving me crazy! And the ambience and interior design! Each chair is in a semi-private space and there are no cords or tools in view. It's always spotless! By the looks of the place you'd think you'd pay twice what they charge for services. I promise they are worth twice as much too. But, um, please don't raise your prices, 415... kthx!

This salon offers great service in a friendly professional environment. I highly recommend Allison.read more

They did not shampoo my hair, I have NEVER had to specifically ask for a shampoo before. I asked for suggestions that don't require blowing out my hair (getting arthritis in my hands). I was told I "have to make an effort" and hair claws are "a cute look". Really?! She did not dry my hair and sent me out the door looking worst then when i came in. Where was her "effort"? I felt unheard and mistreated even. I obviously will never return and cannot recommend in spite of my desire to support local businesses but come on.... this business didn't even deliver basic , minimum services and charged me $27 for a cut plus $5 for cash only. I can get more for less at any budget, chain hair salon. I generally don't review places but being new in town I relied on reviews. If you too are new in town, pass on this place. There is a point when small town businesses can become too small town to the point that new clients are made to feel uncomfortable or unwelcome . I definitely got that vibe from this place. Hard pass!!!
