Hair cut is $15, and they'll trim your eyebrows and shave your neck with hot shaving cream. They even run a vacuum over you to pick up loose hair. I've tried a lot of barber shops in the area. This one's the best. Even open till 7 on Thursday nights for those of us who work.

As soon as you enter the lounge, you are greeted by multiple hellos and other gracious greetings. I don't think a stranger has ever walked in these doors. My sons use Caleb as their barber. Her is much like the owner. It's clear that the owner knows the right type of people to hire!! The establishment is clean, the are vending machines, a complimentary coffee area, and even sweet treats for the kids. I think one of my favorite parts of this place, besides the people, would be the large checkers game in the middle. It brings together all customers, no matter the age or gender, in a friendly competition while sharpening minds. Lastly, the owner is starting a reading initiative for the children in the area. Just visted this location with my father. This location is just off of 3rd ave west behind "East of…read morethe Mississippi" restaurant. There are 2 men that cut hair here; Dee the owner and James. They are quick a efficient. They cut around 10 people in a manner of about 2 hours. I didnt ask permission to take photos of those cuts, but they were clean in my opinion. This the reason I only have one haircut photo. They also use a straight razor.
