I Love the ambiance of this place this is what I grew up knowing only on steroids, a lot of chairs and barbers and they seem to get along very well for the most part and if it looks busy, be patient it moves very quickly. Cool creative name aside, Ian is part of a very small percentage of barbers that truly know what they're doing and you can tell he has a lot of pride in it. Very friendly, and has an impeccable attention to detail. I've been to him a handful of times now, and gotten traditional clipper fades and also razor fades. He's up to date on all the latest styles BUT!!! I'm sure if you walked in and "wanted" an outdated hair cut he'd be happy to hook you up. Each and every single visit of mine has been perfect. I can't say the same about any of the dozens of other hair places I've been to in the area. That's why he's super deserving of 5+ stars, cause of his consistency. Thumbs up!!!! However this is the only place where I have actually noticed the quality of the hair cut. When I leave here I can tell that the hair cut is next level compared to anywhere else I've been. They also take significantly longer to get everything right compared to other places. Not that it takes super long or anything, but they spend the time to trim around the ears etc really well. The places itself is nice and has an old school vibe. It's right in downtown Lenoir with plenty of street parking around. As long as I'm in the area I will continue to come here.
