I actually called the place and they set me up an appt right away. I had my pedicure done by iEnvy, she is very great in what she's doing. She offered me a deluxe pedicure that has 20min feet and leg massage, scrubs and etc. I had my toes in a classic white polish. My nails were done by (I forgot her name) but she was pretty good too. She did this fast and nice! My nails were naturally medium length already so she just applied the acrylic on top of my natural nails. I don't prefer fake nails either unless my nails are short. I let her see an inspo which is not that complicated since this is a simple french tip. I setup an account, gave my credit card information and was given a confirmation on my appointment via email which even included an attachment with my appointment to add to my calendar. I've had my appointment scheduled since November for December 19. On December 14, I received an email confirming my cancellation which I did not cancel. I looked for a reason for cancellation on the email assuming maybe due to the pandemic something changed but there was no explanation. I assumed maybe a glitch so I looked up Lauren's number on her website, which states to text and not call. Again no issue with that. I texted her to see if maybe my appointment had been canceled by error. She responded " Hi! I do not work on Saturdays or Sundays. I work 8-14 hours per day Monday-Friday." I was confused because I'm unsure why she felt the need to tell me she works long hours which was not my problem. As a business, that should have never been addressed to a client and I wasn't even offered to reschedule or be worked in. It's not my fault that schedule was available on her site. Strict policies for a business but however you provide sloppy service. I will carefully shop for another lash technician that is more professional. Everyone isn't made to be a entrepreneur. I would always get my eyebrows and lips threaded. Since I only come once every 2-3 weeks - some months even longer, I get a different person every time to do my eyebrows. I am only posting a review today because I want to share that if you feel like something is wrong, do speak up. When I had my eyebrows done, this lady was pulling pretty hard. I assumed since I have thicker eyebrow hair, it was expected to hurt. I was tearing up and had to turn my head away when she was pulling pretty hard in some areas. Again, since it was so quick, I just let her finish in hope to just get out of there. It stung really bad when she put the aloe on it and I knew then she probably had cut me with the thread. If this happens again, I will just stop the technician next time. I encourage everyone to speak up. I apologize for the blurry image but I ended up with 3 cuts on my left upper lid. This area is thin and I know I don't have a lot of hair in the upper eyelid area anyway. It is pretty painful and overall, I am really disappointed.
