I only needed a slight trim for my hair and bangs plus thinning. She washed my hair (such an enjoyable experience) and finished the trim in 45 minutes. The total came to around $60 (incl tips). Other japanese salons charge around similar prices for ladies haircut WITHOUT shampooing, this salon includes shampooing in the price. The salon is a humble place it's not upscale or lux. There was absolutely no mess around my forehead, ears, nape of neck, or eyebrows. I asked for a deep conditioning treatment she applied that and massaged it into my head/hair. I always opt for air dry because my hair drys beautifully without any heat. She sprayed my hair with leave in conditioner and gave me a brand new black detangling brush, that she took out of the package to detangle my hair with. Near the beginning she had asked me if I like black. I said yup. I Wasn't sure if she was referring to my black hair or my nails that had just been shellaced black. But I think it was actually for the brush, she is very thoughtful.
