Where do I begin with the amazing customer service I always receive upon my arrival. Front desk very welcoming offering your favorite beverage and so accommodating. The salon impeccably clean. The breath of fresh air and team friendliness. Jessica is just fabulous. All I had to do was briefly explain the do's and don'ts about my hair and she knew exactly what to do. Every visit just seems to exceed my expectations. With that said, I've become a regular since August. Bledi, compliments to you for your sincere great business vision that you have created at your hair salon. Owner, management always sets the tone and success and you definitely have created that environment at Scizzors. I wish you and your team continuous success. P.S. Most impressive visit I had at Scizzors. I had an appointment on August 30th and Bledi was getting his haircut with one of his team hair dressers. Jessica had begun to do my hair when suddenly her blower had a Smokey smell. Bledi immediately took action and replaced her blower. I immediately knew he's an owner/boss who takes pride in his place of business, clients and employees. Kudos too Bledi.

I moved to NYC a few years ago and still drive the 3.5 hours to Shrewsbury at least once a year to get my hair cut and colored by Katie. Her balayage technique makes my hair look amazing and it grows out perfectly so I can usually make it the full year before coming back for my next visit. (even hairdressers in Brooklyn when I've needed a trim have commented on how nice the color is) The vibes are impeccable and after watching her team work with other clients in such thoughtful ways I'd also trust any one of them to do my hair if Katie was ever unavailable. Run don't walk to this salon for your next haircut. You won't regret it.

I had no idea what to do with it, other than grow it out again, but I was tired of that cycle, too, since I've done it several times in the past decade. It's also going pretty grey in spots and I'm not sure another 'tail would work for those wig organizations because of that. I needed someone to just make a decision about my hair and cut it. I didn't care what the results were, what the style was, anything at all. I just needed something different. My husband half-jokingly suggested I take his clippers, buy some gel and go for the Annie Lennox look and I was actually OK with that. Christina took on the challenge. She chose a layered look that is both blowdryer and product-optional (YAY!). It's fabulous, super easy to take care of and suits me well! I would have never thought of layers and I'm glad she chose this cut.

After searching online for salons specializing in "curly cuts," I stumbled upon Nina and Ntrigue Salon. I am SO GLAD I did. I had my first visit this morning, and my hair looks fabulous! Mercades invited me in and shampooed my hair, and then Nina began my Ouidad cut. Nina was gracious and happy to share information on how to care for/style my hair; she obviously loves what she does, and she does it well.
