He…read moreoriginally chopped my 14+ inches off two years ago, and I have kept my short hair since then. Since first seeing him, I moved to Providence, RI - and I still make regular trips to the salon to see JohnPaul for my cuts. Finding a good short-hair stylist for women is HARD. I tried multiple salons, all over Providence - but realized that no one could hold a candle to JohnPaul. I like to see variety in my cuts, and I want a hairdresser who is willing to take some chances - I don't want to dictate EXACTLY what I want when I sit down in the chair. Further, I want a nice clean cut; I need the hair around my ears actually STYLED and I want a cut that grows out clean. JohnPaul's cuts deliver on all fronts. I would definitely recommend JohnPaul, especially if you have short (pixie) hair!

I've not made appointments with one stylist, as they are all top notch, and every haircut has been perfect. Every time I come here, I leave HAPPY! Again, out of convenience, I went somewhere else closer to home on a weekend, and left in tears. As soon as that awful cut grew out, I went back to Haley, and she fixed it in a jiffy. Perfect, exactly what I wanted. And, she's great to talk to! All the stylists LISTEN, and provide the best cuts that grow out beautifully, and are very personable. Great experience EVERY TIME! Sejla is super attentive to what you want. She really went the extra mile to give me the haircut I wanted and even curled my hair to show me how it would look in it's natural state. She washed, blow dried, and then cut it (stylist preference, I assume) to see how the hair falls naturally without being wet. She worked on my hair for a while too, cutting away until I was happy with the end product. She had plenty of advice to give, and my hair came out exactly as I wanted it: not too short, but with plenty of layers. I have a LOT of hair but she was meticulous and knew just how to deal with it, which a lot of people don't know how to. I would highly recommend her!
