I went to hair in the square to get the underneath of my hair dyed black. I was greeted at the door with a friendly smile from Jessica. She did a great job with my hair. I love the cut, and the color turned out beautiful. She braided my hair like I asked and I was very pleased with the outcome. It was overall a very pleasant experience from beginning to end. I loved how comfortable I felt, and how personable she and the owner were. I'll be coming back! read more

I had been going to this shop's owner for 10 years. This week she turned my hair green and after 6 hours could not correct the color. She apologized and said she would give me a partial refund. When I followed up to receive the refund she called me names and said it was my fault she turned my hair green and did not give me a refund. She also cut one side of my hair shorter than the other. This was such a disappointing experience as I had been a loyal customer and probably would have continued to come to her if she had not handled this incident so unprofessionally. Highly recommend avoiding this stylist if you care about your hair and being treated like a valued customer. read more

Do not go here for an up-do!! I'm sure there are competent stylists there that can cut, but the girl we had to do my daughter's prom hair had no clue and was not professional enough to ask for help. My daughter showed her 4 pictures and after 2 attempts at different up dos, we walked out with her hair down in loose curls and some sorry attempt at a braid. Luckily a nearby salon squeezed us in and saved my daughter's hair. I went back after the prom rush had died down that afternoon to ask for my money back. The owner, Tina, refused. Unbelievably bad customer service. If you insist on going here, avoid the blond with bangs. I will refrain from using her name. read more

Visiting area on our boat, way overdue for color and cut!! Krissy did a great job on my color w/ formula from salon at home. Cut was exactly what I showed her a photo of. She really spent a lot of time asking questions about what I wanted and the results spoke for her attention to detail. This is a lovely salon. Owner Tina very personable. I moved to the area several months ago but had been traveling back to my former stylist. I finally had to bite the bullet and find someone closer to my new home. I asked for someone good at working with fine, straight hair and was given Krissy. I was happy to see she had the same hair and knew she would know what to do.
