At first I was a little apprehensive as I had been hoping to get another cut from Angelia but I was thoroughly impressed; Henny's fresh and stylish cut makes me look so much younger. Normally I would not post pictures of a haircut but a picture is a thousand words? Over the past few years I have had several haircuts in the Boston area that cost more and none of them were as good as the two haircuts I've gotten here... wish I lived closer!

I work in the city and had some solid haircuts there but the service was lackluster and at $55 quite the rip off. Then there was Earl. Great haircut. Took his time to make it perfect and a just the right amount of interesting conversation. All for under $20. My hair is the stiff and coarse Asian hair that barbers find challenging because every mistake shows. Earl was more than up to the challenge. How good was the hair cut? So good, I bright my 2 year old to get his haircut. I was worried because he usually goes to the kids salon with the cars as barber chairs and TVs. Earl Connected right away. I put a tablet in my kids hand and he just smiled through it. It seemed to me like he knew he was about to get a serious haircut with a nice hard part and all. We walked out with what my wife said was "his best haircut yet." I uploaded some pictures for you to see. When we walked in, I was the first at the sign in register. The lady behind me, went to the second register, which I thought was a little unfair because I was there before she was - either way I signed both my sons in - I thought, but when I looked up at the screen, only one was up there. I told the lady I think something happened when I signed my kids and I don't see both sons at top. She is like - OK you did it wrong - I can sign him in and then suddenly, he's like way down the list and I was like wait a minute we're the first ones here- there was an issue with the sign in process and I don't wanna have to wait an hour for my second son when the other one is the first on the list. The lady said no - kept telling me it was "my fault" that I didn't sign them in right. - and she has to go buy what's on the screen and I said well although I understand what your saying it's just not right here because I really was the first at the store waiting. I don't know what to say but her interaction with me except that was very challenging because I kept trying to explain myself which she took as my arguing with her- ugh. The conversation was not comfortable. It was loud for sure. It kept going because all I wanted was to be heard and understood and she was having NO PART of understanding. She was not empathetic. Then she use this word on me - that I was "entitled"'. I think this is a very triggering word right now. Her interaction with me was so rude that I felt it was aggressive. I wanted to wait outside the store to calm down and she thought I was trying to walk out without paying - although my kids were still in the store- and she threatened to call the police. What am I to do at that point? And what should I expect? Well I expected to be heard. I felt so just unheard, then belittled. She would benefit from a customer relations class and needless to say - we just aren't going back.
