She continued to engage us & asked to see pics of what I was looking for.. this went on for about 20 mins. Eventually, she walked to the back of the salon then announced, they had no interest in scheduling us. Nasty lady. Truthfully, I always judge a hair person by their own hair condition. It was a very hideous blonde & not in decent condition. If she can't take care of her own hair, how would she be able to do mine? If they don't want people to walk in, even to schedule, then maybe they should lock their door. Bad vibes, unwelcoming & rude. No thanks

The decor is a little weird, and the layout makes it look smaller than it is, but it's a nice little shop. Stacie does a great job on my hair and does a better job at handling the cowlicks and what not than the other people I've let cut my hair in the last few years. Not to mention she's a sweet girl, so I'm glad to have her back in Connecticut! As a bonus, it's next to Dairy Queen, which is a nice treat for when you're done :)

She has been actively a hairdresser for well over 20 years and has kept up with all the current styles and trends. Her ethic is a long lost skill and she does not rush to get people out of the door as soon as possible.

We took our twelve month old son to Daisy Doos and Dudes for his first haircut. It was very easy…read moreto book our appointment online and we were given reminders on our phone of his appointment which I'm sure will be helpful when haircuts become a regular thing for him. We arrived a few minutes early for a ten o'clock appointment and experienced almost no wait. Our stylist, Samantha, was efficient and patient with our squirmy wormy. In total, I think it took maybe 15 minutes and we are pleased with the way his big boy haircut looks and with how well he was treated. I also appreciated that the salon seemed to be low sales pressure. Samantha only recommended a product for his wispy hair after we asked about it. Many reviewers have commented on the certificate you're given after the haircut. It is printed on card stock, your child's name is written with marker and there is a square cut out near the bottom for the hair they gather for you to be displayed in a small plastic bag. It isn't something I would display on a wall, but it is fine for sticking in a scrapbook and at $20 I really was more concerned that my son had a good experience. We will most likely be returning here in a few weeks after his hair has grown out even though it is a 30 minute drive for us.
