However, I stopped in about a week ago for their mani/pedi promo and apparently the woman servicing me was "tired". Totally understandable, I was tired myself. However, I do believe that putting real energy behind being approachable and friendly is important when you're feeling tired or something.. just about having a little etiquette (just my opinion) So.. I was unsure about the way she conducted herself with me. I wanted to be understanding but she just seemed uninterested in servicing me in general and apparently wasn't about to try to be anything other than "tired", like I should accept that as a paying customer. When I reviewed her poorly as she only cut half of my hair as she was talking to a relative who came early for an appointment, she accused me of being racist and calling her repeatedly. I needed her to fix my hair as my Father's memorial service was coming up and she put me off for a week, then canceled appointment she had made and refunded my cash payment for hair cut on a credit card I had used 3 months before. She uses Square for her payments. I called them to complain and they said I had to deal with her. Very disappointing service and frankly she is less than quality in her business practices. I was about 6weeks postpartum, and mama really needed to feel good about herself! The price for the extensions was VERY favorable compared to what many other salons/technicians are requesting. The salon is wonderful - bright, clean, modern. I was greeted right when i walked in. My technician (i'm sorry, i forgot her name but i think she's no longer at the salon) was extremely friendly, accommodating, and explained every step of the process as we went through the service. My only complaint was that the lashes started to fall off sooner than i expected - which she did mention i might lose a couple here or there within the first few days, but i'm talking about like within 3-4days my lashes looked like they were missing huge chunks! I ended up just having to take them out within a week since they looked absolutely ridiculous being so spotty. I could have called and set up an appointment, but with a newborn it wasn't that simple to find the time. But no hard feelings! Still adore the place, and love following the ladies (and gentleman) of the salons work.
