The first time I booked with her, she provided a very thorough consult on my hair and explained what factors would lead to damage or hair loss. She gave me the exact haircut I asked for without any issues (which is so rare for me because I'm very picky lol). The second time I went to her for a haircut, I didn't even need to provide her with any inspo pics, I just told her I wanted which was more volume with layers, and she was able to do all that and more! The way that she styles my hair after a haircut is so pretty and natural and I will definitely be coming back to her for future balayages, haircuts, & blowouts!

Only downside was that it took an extremely long time. I think if I had known more about how she was going to achieve the look, I would have opted to break it into more than one session or just changed the look altogether. But yeah that was the only thing, and full disclaimer she did tell me ahead of time it was going to take all day. I just probably won't do something that extensive again lol. Excellent cut, and the color was a nice change!

I was a loyal client at Fifty Shades of Hair Salon for over five years. In that time, I developed…read morewhat I believed was a genuine friendship with the owner, Claudia. She always had her own unique way of doing things, and I trusted her judgment when it came to my hair. That trust is something I now deeply regret. This last visit, I made the decision to go blonde. Claudia was confident she could make it happen and told me to stay "as long as it takes" with no time limit. She applied bleach and foils to my entire head, but shortly after, she checked the foils and said some of my hair had come out. She immediately panicked, pulled the foils off, and rinsed my hair out. Then she said, "Oh, I could've left them in--I just forgot where I put the 10 and where I put the 20." That statement alone was incredibly alarming. To rewind a bit--Claudia had insisted I come in the day before for a keratin treatment that would supposedly help lighten my hair before bleaching. I paid $200 for that treatment, and it barely made a difference. Back to the day of the bleaching--after removing the foils early, she applied a caramel toner to my hair. Before even drying it, she sat in front of her camera and told me she was only charging me for her time, not the products, and that the total would be $650. I was completely shocked and upset but went ahead and paid it, hoping at least the end result would be worth it. When she dried my hair, it was a disaster--an uneven mess of brown, blonde, and green tones. I told her it looked awful and even cried in her chair, but she showed no concern or care. I left feeling devastated and humiliated. Afterward, I texted Claudia asking for at least a partial refund. She refused, claiming it wasn't her fault and even said she had a camera in her office that "recorded everything." She also charged me $70 for a conditioning treatment I never agreed to--promising to refund it but never following through. Over the years, I noticed Claudia was steadily losing clients, and now I understand why. Her work, attitude, and lack of accountability have driven people away. I truly thought we had a friendship, but clearly, I was mistaken. Please, save yourself the money, stress, and heartache. Stay far away from Claudia, her salon, and all the drama that comes with it.

For most women (or PEOPLE, in general really), I think it's safe to say that our hair is very…read moreimportant to our overall identity. Having the "hair you want" is important for self-confidence... wouldn't you agree!? Since my health status changed in 2013, I have been unable to grow my hair past my shoulders. Ever since, I have kept my thin, fine hair very blonde to kind of "mask" that I didn't have much of it, and to keep what I DID have a little bit more spunky. Just wanted to feel the most like "me" that I could while working with what I had. Honestly though, I have wanted longer hair for years and years, but gave up on the idea a while back. Then I found Teresa. Dude. I have to brag on my girl for a minute. Yes... she is stunning herself... effortlessly so. But what makes her truly special is her ability to make you feel like the "stunning one" when you leave her chair. That kind of confidence boost can't be taught... it's a gift. SHE'S A GIFT!!! She's a true artist. Some might say she's a magician... because I swear she works miracles every time. Teresa doesn't just do hair... she creates an experience. And you walk out feeling more beautiful, more confident, and more like yourself than when you walked in. If you're looking for extensions, a color refresh, or even just a trim... take my word for it!!! She is wonderful. Thank you SO MUCH Teresa!!! ATTACHED PICS: Pic #1: My signature style for the past 13+ years has been one that I didn't completely hate, but was not my first choice. I was "dealing" with what I had... short, thin, blonde-blonde. While truly thankful to have ANY hair at all, what I did have was just not "me" and a constant struggle. It was time for a change in the right direction. Pic #2: This is the magic Teresa has created with the hair that I do have! She added flawless extensions that were not over the top whatsoever, but simply added a little fullness where I needed it, the perfect amount of length, toning to match my natural dirty-blonde color, and a whole lot of confidence!!! (this pic is straight after shampooing and drying. Hasn't even been styled yet!) THANK YOU TERESA!

This was a rare occasion where…read moreI decided to get a "professional" cut for an upcoming promotion at work, and I am leaving looking worse than I have in years. To be clear, I did my due diligence. I called ahead and specifically asked if they could do a men's haircut, and I was assured they could. When I sat in the chair, the stylist Tanya immediately told me she couldnt do skin fades. I said, "Okay, perfect," because that's exactly what I didn't want. I explained that my usual style is a more grown-out, longer look. I even showed a clear inspiration photo to ensure we were on the same page. She then proceeded to completely ignore everything I said. Not only did she not follow the photo, but she cut my hair drastically shorter than I asked for. When I voiced my concern, saying it was already too short, she decided to take even more off, making the situation infinitely worse. I usually cut my own hair, and I consistently get a result ten times better than this. The one time I trust a professional with a major life event, my trust was completely misplaced. I am so angry and frustrated. My hair is completely butchered, and I now have to face a big career milestone feeling insecure and unhappy. Save yourself the regret and go somewhere else. 1+ year of hair growth down the drain in less than 20 minutes due to a negligent hair stylist
