We spoke to the baker and he told us it was all part of the same business, the bakers and the cheese shop and the bakery had outgrown the building and was soon to be moving a mile or two up the road. Anyhow, we walked through the front door and were amazed at the wonderful display of freshly baked breads available to buy. From super open textured, crunchy baguettes to heavy sourdough and super soft farmhouse loaves, stilton and walnut bread, oily foccaccia and on and on. There was also a small selection of sweets such as really nutty brownies, pain au chocolat and danish. Everything looked so good, it took us forever to narrow down our choices. We ended up buying four loaves of bread and two cakes. All were beautiful and very tasty which is a big lack in most of today's crappy supermarket breads which people have become accustomed. My favourite was the baguette, it really was out of this world. The breads were a little pricey but WELL worth it. And the place is definetly worth a visit!

But they also excel is pastrys and pies, cakes and bakes. The smell is lovely, and you can't walk past without going in and buying something. The window displays always have pretty cakes on display. Proces are reasonable - definately worth it for the quality.

For bread there's wholemeal, granary, white, 'Moffat Tasty' to name but a few! There's a large range of handmade biscuits and muffins as well, including shortbread and parkins. You can also buy milk and other drinks in the chilled cabinet. Located in the main street so easy to find should not be missed!

Using wholesome ingredients, confidently seasoned to give great flavour - a real master bakers. sandwiches are all freshly made to order using their own roast meats, fresh sliced. They were very busy and their display case was filled with lots of delicious looking premium pastries, cookies, little pies, breads and so much more. The staff was super friendly and made our visit even more enjoyable. We purchased a few bars, cookies, hand pies and some scones. The prices were very reasonable. Every item was super fresh and extremely tasty. The cream filling in the pies was super creamy and rich. The filled cookies were amazing and I wished that I had more. The bars were irresistible and loaded with fresh fruits.
