However, I had to wait for 15mins before being seen by Grace, the PT. She was pleasant, asked me about my injury & had me do try to do several positions to evaluate what I could do & can't do. In the past, when I had PT at Other places, the therapist took careful measurements of the injured side as well as the good side for comparison, so that an accurate baseline was logged. Then as I progressed, it was clear how I was doing. However, this was Not done here. Early during my time with Grace, I told her I really needed her input about a daily stretch I was doing to find out if it was good or bad for me to do. Later as she got up to leave, but I tried to quickly show her this stretch. However, the front desk girl came and cut this short and said that Grace had to go to the next patient, and that another person who had a kinesiology degree would help me. I looked at the time & it was under 30 mins, which meant I should have another ~15mins of therapy. Since I was told another qualified person would help me, I asked for the icing and electrical stimulation that my doctor had ordered. However, to my surprise, she coldly said "You appt is OVER". Why did she say someone else would help me & then refuse this in the next instant! My appt was cut short. Very disappointed in how I was treated.

Stacy seemed irritated and distracted for almost all of the visits. I left most of the visits filled with fear that my newborn was not meeting its milestones because of what Stacy said or meant indirectly when my LO was not able to perform a skill. She was impatient enough to always leave the appointment after 20 mins, when my LO was tired. Even on repeatedly asking her to measure the asymmetry, Stacy would procrastinate it and say "next time". It looked like all Stacy was looking for was more future visits so she could get more money from us and the insurance. The last visit with us, she left us feeling flabbergasted after mentioning helmet and that my 5 mo failing to meet its milestones. I switched over to Mills PT in San Mateo and they cleared us after the second visit itself.

All the staff from the nurses, to the physical therapists, to the effervescent activities director (Snow), were extremely attentive, caring and very conscientious with regard to taking care of the patients. Although the structure itself is older, it is extremely clean and well cared for, I would highly recommend this facility to anyone needing skilled nursing services.
