I did a number on my car (scratched three panels on the side of my car) and it had taken me forever to get it fixed cause the estimates I was getting were at least $1000. My uncle recommended this place to me after he'd gotten his car fixed there, and they ended up giving me an estimate of $600. I was skeptical because of the one poor review on yelp, but I decided to take my chances, and I'm glad I did cause my car basically looks brand new. I brought my car in this morning for an estimate. An older dude came out to help. My car has a little damage on the front driver side. He was unfriendly and had an attitude. Clearly he was trying to look for more works then we wanted. Even after we told him that we were paying and don't want to go through our insurance. His estimate was double the guy next door. Hai & his staff are friendly. We have had no complaints & we've been out using a rental with the help of Hai. He takes care of practically everything you worry for when it comes to your car or finding a rental. I got injured so dealing with paperwork was the last thing on my mind. I've been taking vehicles to this shop since I was in college. Most recently, I've had a Chevy Bolt with rear end damage and and a brand new Infiniti QX60 that had a garage door scratch repaired. This review is regarding Hai Tech Collision #2 (they have two locations) (15095 Weststate St, Westminster CA 92683) I drive a black Honda Accord 2015 & I got rear-ended last year in September 2016 by an uninsured driver. The bolts from license plate of the other driver's car imprinted and cracked my bumper downgrading the appearance of my car. I made a collision claim through my insurance and I was lucky to have gotten my deductible waived since the other driver had no insurance & I had full coverage. However, my claim was "open" for awhile since I was so busy with school that I couldn't fix my car immediately. Two months after the collision, my car got vandalized. There were multiple cars around my area that were getting vandalized by people who were using bb guns & going on a keying streaks; someone had shot my car with bb guns & had also left key marks in various places around my car. The bb gun bullet marks/dents were starting to chip my paint as days went by, I didn't know how to stop the paint from chipping so I improvised by using black nail polish lol I love my car to death so every time I looked at my car, it made me extremely sad. I decided to file another insurance claim regarding "vandalism" and my deductible for this claim was $500. As both my claims were being process, I was on the phone with one of the insurance representative & I had told her I wanted to handle both my claims at the same time. She read off some participating (insurance) auto-shops to me and when I heard her say "Hai Tech Collision," I thought the name was so clever that I decided to choose this shop. AND it was the best decision! My insurance sent over both my claims to Hai Tech Collision & the following day, I received a phone call from Amanda that she had received my claims and I was able to come in and get my car fixed immediately. I met Amanda and Vince on a Wednesday & they were the most helpful people ever! They were so understanding and easy to talk to, they told me that my car was going to be in good hands. In my head, I didn't know how they were going to fix my car because I felt like all the vandalism marks were so scattered but Vince had reassured me that he'll take care of everything and my car would come out looking brand new! Knowing me, I'm such a hopeful person so any kind of help would make me happy. My car was there from Wednesday to Monday & during the time that my car was in their possession, Amanda was texting me to update me the process. How sweet is she?! On Monday, Amanda texted me at 2p that my car was finished and ready for pick up. Unfortunately, when I came in, Amanda wasn't there but Vince was! He saw that I was mesmerize by final finish of my car; they made my car look like it just came out from the dealership! I was so happy and speechless! They literally matched my car's color soooooooooooo perfectly that it looked like nothing ever happened to it. Vince told me they ordered a brand new bumper for me from Honda & they fixed all the dents, scratches, and marks that were on my car. Brought my car here for repair after being referred by a friend of mine. I spoke to several auto shops to request estimates as well as amounts of time needed to complete the repair of my car. I decided on Hai Tech due to their reasonable estimate as well as their promise to complete my car in less than two weeks. I was obviously skeptical about deciding to take my car to an auto shop rather than my Lexus dealership, but they did ended up doing such a great job on my car. I was also concerned about their ability to match the color of their paint with mine because of my car's unique pearl white color.... but they ended up matching it perfectly!! They also touched up on some small scratches I had around my car unrelated to the accident which was such a great gesture and showed great customer service. These people are very rude and low class!!! I came in last week for an estimate. One of the guys there (not Duy, he's the more decent guy in the front office) talked to me like he wanted to chase me off from their properties. He apologized after the fact, once I've pointed to him that his attitude was very rude and impolite. This may be a convenient location for Vietnamese people living in the Bolsa area who cannot speak English. But from a cost standpoint, you're not saving that much. There are now a number of Asian-owned cheaper places. Please don't be mistaken that because they are in the Bolsa area that their prices are cheaper than elsewhere. Their action has prompted me to go to another body shop, Harbor Automotive Center located on Harbor Blvd. The owner there is also Vietnamese but his attitude was very business like and polite. Day and Night! You owe it to yourself to get a second estimate elsewhere. If you don't want to soil yourselves with having to deal with these low-life, I recommend you stay far away from this place! I've had two separate incidents with two separate cars (2011 Kia Optima SX + 2015 Lexus GS350) where I was driving home from work and a-hole truck drivers who don't strap their crap down and let it fly into the road as airborne road hazards (yes this happened twice to me and I know, bad luck) hit my car and mess up the front bumper and valences. I was referred to HAI TECH from State Farm the first time and I'm extremely glad I was. Vince and Amanda took excellent care of me and my car. Vince went straight to work on getting the parts and Amanda drove me to Hertz and made sure my rental car was waiting for me. 2007 Honda Civic was in an accident and needed repairs to passenger side front and rear affecting the body, bumper and wheel rim. I originally took the car in to my insurance company's preferred repair shop for an estimate, but a co-worker told me about Hai Tech Collision. They looked at the quote and mentioned the costs are reasonable and said they could do all the required work with no problem. From the beginning, Vincent and staff provided kind and courteous service. They even provided me with a free loaner! This alone saved hundreds of $$'s since I didn't have rental coverage from my insurance. Their expertise in working the insurance company made the process go smoothly. The quality of work was excellent and the car looks as good as new again. There was some minor damage on driver side that was not related to the accident but repairing this could cost hundreds. I expressed concerned one side would look nice and the other kind of crappy. To my surprise, they repaired that at no extra cost to me. Had my car back in less than a week and a half!
