Her setup was beautiful and fit perfectly with the overall look and feel of our event. I gave Tomoko a list of songs I wanted played, but also told her to use her judgment and play anything she felt matched the vibe of the shower. She completely understood what I was going for and her song selections were perfect. She even dressed in pink at my request to coordinate with our baby girl theme, which was such a thoughtful touch! So many of our guests commented on how beautifully she played and how impressed they were by her talent. She arrived and set up on time, played throughout the entire time we had booked her, and truly added such an elegant and special element to the day. I'm so happy we chose Tomoko for our baby shower and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a talented and professional harpist for their event. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how organized everything was and how smoothly the wedding flowed. Several people even told us it was the best wedding they had ever attended. Reason being their ac was broken!!! We got there around 2pm and they were frantically trying to fix the ac. It was so hot and humid in there that everyone was sweating. By 430 pm with no relief I had to go sit in the car and crank up my ac to get any kind of relief. Eventually they got the ac partially working but by then the damage was done. My nice dress shirt was soaked. People stank. And a lot of people were uncomfortably miserable. At least in the reception room it was a little bit more comfortable. But in the main lobby where the photo booth was it was pretty toasty the entire night unfortunately. I suggested to the bride and groom to get some sort of refund. Dont know if they did. But they did throw in some electric fans. Which were near useless as it was just blowing hot humid air around. I believe they threw in a photo booth which was cool. And they included some pyrotechnics in the first dance which was really cool. They have a nice large grassy outside area, where I guess wedding ceremonies can take place. They have a separate room for cocktail hour, which they close off before and after cocktail hour. The main reception room was nice and large. I love the windows overlooking the outside. Plenty of parking here. And they have a huge sign closing off that parking lot to thr wedding venue, so its only exclusively used by the guests. Seems as though they only have 1 bathroom in the entire building for the guests. I love how the bridal suite was off to the side. So theres basically 4 main areas to this place. The entryway. The reception area. The cocktail room area. And the outside area. Its a nice venue. But the broken ac for the first couple of hours left a major imprint on the whole night....

We had a few issues and delays pop up, and they handled it like the amazing pros that they are. They shifted our timeline around, kept things flowing so that the impact to guests was as minimal as possible, and did an amazing job of keeping us in the loop. They also made sure that we were able to capture all the key moments we wanted before the photographers left for the night. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

With his clear, strong voice, relatable personality, and attention to detail, you cannot go wrong with Jonathan as the host of your big day! Jonathan is also an extremely talented artist. He performed live during cocktail hour and during dinner, and I had so many guests commenting on how much they enjoyed the live music. It was such a fun and unique addition. It really elevated the experience for everyone. Once the dancing kicked off, Jonathan absolutely nailed it. He seamlessly wove his go to dance tracks with our specially requested songs and made the dance floor the place to be. Our dance floor was open for about four hours including the after party, and Jonathan made sure to keep the energy high! We all had the best night and three months later, our friends and family are still talking about how much fun they had. I owe a big part of this to Jonathan. We cannot thank you enough!!

He made us feel like he had everything under control and that he knew when to accommodate us and when he could use his knowledge to make sure everyone had a great time. In the pre-ceremony, he mixed it up between some pre-selected songs I chose and played some live. I am a musician, so many of our family and friends that were in attendance are all musicians and singers. They all immediately were drawn to his smooth voice and incredible playing. The ceremony went great and had minimal to no tech issues, the sound was clear, he helped us incorporate our musician friends to play a song during the ceremony. He played our First Dance song live, and absolutely knocked it out of the park! We did a small choreographed dance to Love Like This by Ben Rector. His voice was perfect, and I was able to send him an edited version of the song that matched with our dance. He played it flawlessly and the moment was special for my wife and I, and for our guests. During the dinner, he played an acoustic set consisting of covers of 90s-2000s R&B songs, which were a huge hit with us and our guests. He played with a loop pedal and was able to simulate a full band with just his guitar and voice! He had some moving and grooving, singing along during dinner, while others were still able to hold a conversation without distraction. I gave him many songs to include in the dance portion of the night. And while he included MANY of my suggestions, he also knew when to throw in some crowd favorites to keep the party going. The dance floor was PACKED all night, the transitions between each song where seamless, and it became a fun game for my and my friends to try and guess what song he was cueing up next! My wife and I loved every musical moment of the evening, and it was exactly what we dreamed of for that day. All of our guests loved the music, and were so impressed not just with his professionalism and on stage banter with the crowd, but his musicality and rich voice. I have worked as a wedding musician for a few years, and as a gigging musician and singer for much longer. I have always feared that I would spend my wedding day judging the Wedding Band/DJ because of my high standards for live music. Jonathan blew every single one of those expectations out of the water, and he was such a breath of fresh air during a stressful period of wedding planning. The venue itself is beautiful, impeccably maintained, and located in a stunning setting. The staff at Occasions went above and beyond to make both my husband and me feel like royalty. If I needed anything at all, a staff member was already there and ready to help before I even had to ask. One of the things we appreciated most about Occasions was their flexibility. Unlike many venues, they allowed us to choose most of our own vendors and were very accommodating when it came to the decor and personal touches we wanted to incorporate. We even wanted to do a T-shirt toss during our reception, and they fully embraced the idea! The vendors they do require you to use (bar, catering, DJ, and bakery) were all outstanding.
