He explained wills go to probate after death and that lawyers continue to charge until probated and that can take some time. He spent quite a bit of time with me and I gathered the necessary paperwork he suggested and completed. Beneficiary at the bank easy, medical power of attorney, notarized at my bank easy, my financial counselor sent me the forms to distribute my monies to my kids easy, went to the County Clerk's office with the title to have my son's name included on the title upon death, $35, easy. The last and final part was the deed transfer of my home to my son upon death. This is when I finally got to meet Eileen and David. Eileen is extremely soft spoken and very knowledgeable. She is open and welcoming to all. I don't think there is a person on earth she and David wouldn't help. She drafted the paperwork, I signed and she notarized and had it sent to be recorded. $250 and $35 for a will. I came home and wrote notes for my son about how I wanted this distributed to my other kids and granddaughters. I have this all included in a divided file folder.
