It's too bad when a company can't see past it's own issues to make things right…read more We recently had the carpeting replaced in our house while we were on vacation. I had gone into the store, asked for the best carpet, didn't haggle just paid the deposit and went on my vacation. After vacation, I stopped in to their shop to pay the balance only to find they were trying to charge me in excess of $100 that was not in our contract for some trumped up add-on.Since I had a contract , I of course did not fall for it. When we came home , the carpet was installed but there were 2 issues. The wall in the master bedroom had been damaged and one of the doors on a custom built cabinet had been damaged in 2 places and someone had "glued the shards" back on to the door in a failed attempt to make it look good. I contacted the owner "Wes" and after his investigation, the installers denied doing any damage and that was that. Wes asked me what I was looking for and I replied I wanted the damage repaired (approx. $100). He started in on how they had "already credited me the trumped up charge and that should be that". It is too bad that a company that received a few thousand dollars for 2 rooms of carpet will allow a customer to leave dissatisfied over such a small amount of money for damage they caused. I think they are a dishonest ,shady company and should be avoided if you are looking for good work and any type of customer service.

We recently worked with ProTech Basement Solutions on a fairly large project for Mid Ohio…read moreInvestment Group, and overall it was a solid experience. The crew was knowledgeable and seemed to know what they were doing, which made a big difference given the scope of the work. One thing that stood out was that the owner, Chad Daniels, was accessible when needed and handled things professionally. It's not always the case that you can reach ownership directly, so that was appreciated. The job was completed as expected, and communication throughout was consistent. No complaints--we found ProTech to be a reliable company that did what they said they would do and did it very well. I highly recommend.

We had large cracks in the crawl space under our family room, and doors were not closing properly. As a matter of fact, this entire subdivision has been subjected to uneven settling. Some owners close their eyes, but we wanted to address the problem since we were not planning to mice Luckily, we had a contractor friend building in Columbus and Morrow County who highly recommended Chad and Protech. Chad offered several solutions. It did not come cheap, but when you are spending money, you want it done right. Fast forward several years. There was some water coming in the crawl space. Chad quickly saw the drainage pipe not taking the water from the roof into the street. He agreed that hubby could fix that. But we needed more of his special caulk to plug up new cracks. Out to Columbus, he came. Your service charge is applied as a credit to work done. I know nothing about basement work and am leery of those companies you see on late night television. May 2019. As a…read moreretired Law Enforcement Officer from the South Florida area, I've learned to be very skeptical when dealing with companies when it involves contractors. I did my best reseaching online 1200 miles away, because I needed a Fencing company to do a job at a home I'm buying in Mansfield Ohio. I reached out to friends at the local police department, asking around. The name Central Ohio Fencing kept coming up as THE MOST RELIABLE fencing company in the tri-county area. I initiate contact with Bill-Owner from South Florida and I'm glad I did. He was able to provide me with some initial information that I needed. He even volunteered to head out to the property to take a look, providing me with some initial answers.... Thanks Bill !!!...I then met with Bill, weeks later when I was in Mansfield for the closing of our home. First meeting with Bill, I utilized what I was taught in the 25 years as a Police Officer, looking at his body language to seek deception and or if he was hiding anything...Let me tell you what I learned. 0% deception detected. He was very open and extremely friendly. He then completed the job at the timeline he promised (weather permitting). His price was extremely fair. I had top companies to do my fence over the 30+years in South Florida and Bill's work is up there with them....So if your looking for Fencing company, Central ohio Fencing is the company to turn to. When you meet him, you will understand exactly what I'm talking about. Good Luck Bill, I really hope your company thrives.
