I needed a new cat converter. They quoted me a price over the phone and it didn't change once I got there - no extra "a woman came in by herself" fees. I appreciate that. They explained what was wrong and exactly what they were doing before starting, even showed me the new & old parts and told me in detail why my old one was having an efficiency issue. He gave me advice about what to do if I continued having issues (what a "bad" mechanic might try to offer versus what a "good" mechanic should do to diagnose the problem, which I also appreciated!) The guy was very kind and thorough. I wish I could remember his name, but the Muffler Shop has surely earned my continued business should my vehicle ever have any more problems.

Service guy acted like it wasn't his problem. I had to walk out because I was crying. In the end..... PEPBOYS took their battery out and replaced it with the 'exchanged' battery from Advanced, so I wouldn't be stuck. NOW THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE PEPBOYS! I bought a 2012 BMW 328 here about 6 months ago. The car jumped time on the way home. He towed it…read moreback and fixed it. I was nervous and asked for a refund and he refused. They let a piece of the timing chain guard fall down into the oil pan. It caused the engine to blow up less than 2 weeks later. I asked for a refund again when the car died. He said he would call me right back, which he did not. Several hours later he finally answered and said that he was not legally obligated. He did send me $400 via cashapp to buy a turbo but unfortunately that did not fix it. $6000 is a lot of money for me and this has put me in a really bad spot. I have 4 kids and now have no car and no money to get another. I just don't understand how someone can get away with doing this to someone.
