IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS, I WOULD!…read more BUYER BEWARE -- I would NOT recommend buying crabs from Holly Beach Seafood Market. We ordered 15 dozen crabs and spent over $1,000, and to say we were disappointed is an understatement. Most of the crabs we received were small females and extremely light. When you're spending that kind of money, you expect to receive a quality product. What made the situation even worse was the customer service. I contacted the owner personally and expressed how unhappy we were with the crabs. Instead of trying to make things right, offering replacements, a partial refund, or even showing some concern, his response was basically, "Sorry, they're yours now." That is unacceptable customer service, especially after a customer has spent OVER $1,000 with your business. If you're selling seafood to the public, especially in quantities like this, why aren't you checking the quality of the crabs you're receiving from the fishermen before selling them to your customers? And when there is clearly a problem, WHY NOT STAND BEHIND WHAT YOU SELL? We weren't asking for anything unreasonable. We simply expected to receive what we paid for and for the business to make an effort to correct the situation when we brought it to their attention. Poor quality, poor customer service, and absolutely no effort to make things right.

It is most definitely the freshest raw and cooked fish I've eaten in the area !!! The service is amazing as well , they always have smiling faces and welcome in each individual EQUALLY . I'm big on customer service so I love that even if the sushi was bad , the customer service always makes up for it, but I gotta say the sushi is NEVER bad . At all times of the day it's fresh and the price is always fair . Even the other items on the menu such as bang bang shrimp fried rice, vermicelli bowls, and the rice bowls are each very excellent. I LOVE the pandan latte it's so delicious and not to sweet , I highly recommend that you try it ! Each day at around 6:30 or 730 I believe the sushi is 25% off, which is great because they hate throwing it away and they want to sell it and sometimes they just even give it away because why throw out perfectly good food you know ? They make the sushi fresh every single day you can even get sushi made to order if you don't want what's in the refrigerator box but it's all still extremely fresh . I come here at least once a week with my fiancé and we love the place. i've never had tuna tartare but I tried it today and it did not disappoint. It was absolutely delicious. You'll see in the pictures. I'm gonna post !!! Thank you sushi boxx for being such an amazing restaurant !!

Most of the seats were torn, which was one of the first things we noticed. We grabbed our own menus and waited a few minutes for the waitress to come over. We both ordered waters, but my son's had floating green particles on top that looked like green onions. Instant turn off. I ordered a poke bowl and he ordered ramen. I do wish both dishes would've come out together. Once we started eating, I could tell pretty quickly my poke bowl was anything but fresh. The cucumbers tasted sour, the edamame was mushy, and the amount and quality of the fish was disappointing for the price. My son had a similar experience with his ramen. He said the wontons tasted like nothing, although the broth and noodles themselves weren't bad. This little restaurant honestly has so much potential, which is why I hate leaving a negative review for a mom-and-pop place. But for the prices being charged, the ingredients really need to be fresher. Unfortunately, we would not return
