Ugh dealt with this company today. I get shipments monthly from a beer delivery service for the last 15 months no problem in California. I move to Texas and the company Hackbarth takes over delivery, and all hell breaks loose. Three days late on this package then the driver decided to show up unannounced at 7AM, wait for less than 15 min, leave without telling me, and not respond to my texts for an hour and a half: Terribly unprofessional. This company is a joke. I ordered from Wayfair I would expect better service !! Two scheduled deliveries later and I still do not have my packages. Received a text message 5.24 that my order would be delivered 5.25 between 1-5p. I took off from work and no one showed up. I called the number in the text no answer . I called the office number and my call was forwarded to mobile. The mobile office supposedly emailed the Birmingham office and someone was supposed to call me back. I never heard back until 5.26 at 3 pm. I spoke with Zach from the Arizona office and he assumed me they would reschedule the delivery. I received a voicemail and a call from Carlos around 6:44 apologizing and assuring me that my order would be delivered tomorrow 5.27 between 10-2p. He said they had to dig through the warehouse and wasn't able to response to customers. I also received a confirmation text. I waited at home all day Saturday no one showed. I called the number in the text no one answered. I called the office number and the call forwarded to the mobile office. They couldn't tell me nothing but they will email the manager. I wish I could give this company zero stars!! They messed up my Wayfair delivery so badly, I ended up just asking for a refund and buying a sofa somewhere else. They were very unprofessional when I spoke to them, and they are incompetent! They will straight up lie to you about your item being delivered that day, and then they won't even call to let you know that it won't be delivered! I don't know how this company stays in business. I will never use them again, the entire process of trying to receive my delivery from them was a headache. I sincerely hope Wayfair stops using them, because it will deter me from buying from Wayfair in the future- even though it's not really their fault. If your item says it will be delivered by Hackbarth, beware, you probably won't ever receive your package!! read more

I had a terrific experience with this Birmingham company. They emailed me a "window" time for delivery. I received a phone call from the driver 15 minutes before they arrived at the very earliest of the projected delivery time. Two men unloaded my item. It was in excellent shape and they were gone in a flash. Nothing to complain about here. read more

Every other review makes it clear. Wayfair and Joss & Main have contracted with this company, so beware if you order from them online. They never answer their phones. Wayfair notifies you when your purchase arrives at Hackbarth, and state you will be contacted in 2 business days to schedule delivery. They do not contact you to "schedule" delivery as advertised. They had my furniture for almost 2 weeks. Myself and the wayfair rep attempted to contact them on 7 different days and they never answer the phones. Never. Finally, I got a text at 10 pm on Sunday night, waking me up, notifying me that they would be at my home in the morning. That's not my idea of "scheduling deliver." I contacted wayfair (had to wait until morning, because this was obviously after business hours) and explained no one would be home. They told me they would reschedule for Friday. This didn't stop Hackbarth from showing up at my home the next few days, calling to confirm my house was empty each time. Finally, we got wary that this is a ruse to case homes, because this is NOT how a reputable company does business and left work to meet them. When they finally arrived with my chaise, they used greasy gloves all over it! They stained my brand new furniture!!! This was last month. This month, another delivery, and it's the same story. They have had my furniture for over a week, and zero contact. Then last night, after hours, I get an email this time, from wayfair, notifying me that they've scheduled delivery for following business day morning. Again, after hours, so there is no way to contact wayfair, and Hackbarth never answers their phone. BEWARE! read more

They are are Very Unprofessional, Very Undependable, and will LIE to you all Day Long!! They called on a Wednesday afternoon to schedule delivery the next morning 8-12. Called me at 9:10 AM Thursday, telling me truck full can't deliver today. Doesn't matter if you had to take off work. Told them No, I was scheduled for today, told me let him see what they can do and he'd call me back. Waited over hour no call. I called the office in Mobile, was told they were getting a bigger truck and I would get my appliances today. That didn't happen. I made phone calls to them all day, all the time them reassuring me they were delivering today and just be patient. The last phone call 7:28 pm, was finally told at that time I was not getting my delivery today. After having to wait another week for delivery on Thursday again, they wanted to schedule me at the end of their day. I told them why, When they come right past my house coming into Tuscaloosa ,then called me to try and make it some sooner. It was still a four hour time frame. I did not want to go through what I did last time. After thinking through what happened the past week, I called them back and refused the delivery!!! VERY POOR DELIVERY SERVICE ! ! TERRIBLE !!
