Three and a half stars, if only I could. The Habitat for Humanity is a store that is easy to find something to purchase, and hard to walk out with nothing in your hands!! It's a bit like a thrift store with a little of everything, and a bit like a hardware store, with a selection of oilers, sinks, vanities, and kitchen cabinetry. I've signed up for their Facebook group page, and they post pictures when new items come in. This is a good way to lure people in! They have a lot of useful items at very good prices, and since it's resale, based on donations, they don't change tax. The staff and volunteers are knowledgeable and helpful. When they don't know the answers to your questions, they ask for assistance and get your answer! It's a large store, located on hwy 29 heading north out of town. Give yourself enough time to poke around through their stock. We've had success a couple of times finding tiles for home renovations but you have to have patience to go through the stock. read more

We have found the staff in the store to be very helpful and even though there is such a high turnover of items, we find that the store is kept clean and organized. We have used them on several occasion to pick up furniture from our home and we found the staff to be very courteous and respectful. We would recommend them at anytime. read more

Bad attitude from the help today at the Brockville store. It is perceived to be manditory to "sign in" now when entering the store. There is no other store in the city of Brockville that requires a customer to sign in for contract tracing. I refused and the little french man that was working the front turned into a Covid Karen.. I told them that I will leave and the lady behind the desk told the little man to let me go ahead in but he persisted and started to get personal with his insults . I understand the devissive nature of the current times how ever as a customer I shouldn't be accousted at the door the way I was. The sign says please sign in and one assumes that is voluntary.. Habitat Re-store is supposed to be a thrift shop not a hospital ward. For years now I have frequented this store weekly , and often bought stuff there , but no more . Never again. The Stazi vibe in there now is to uncomfortable. read more
