Then I learned SF taquerias were all over Deutschland. Maybe I should relocate ... Sadly, SF Burrito Co in Köln did not survive Covid. But cologne has other taquerias making magnificent burritos (to be reviewed later). I'd spotted Berlin's Dolores on previous trips but had not tried for a variety of reasons. Enter 2024 and in town with my youngest son (also raised on burritos). I was so excited to try Dolores. But truly saddened by the food experience. I grade burritos on a local curve. Had a hot salsa in it. But was hardly noticeable and not even hot. Basically, a burrito that was a so-so copy of Qdoba or Chipotle. So sad. So very sad. The dining experience - the place was packed on a beautiful Saturday. A Line spilling out to the street. Nowhere to sit inside or outside.
